| 2/3 dogs I've owned as and adult have been double coat breeds. Just saying, the under coat blowout season is always fun lol |

| One of the neighbors had a golden retriever outside 24/7 in a kennel with a cable and a training collar the dog's coat was severely matted and animal control was called |

| Worst case I ever saw, was an Old English Sheepdog. Had twigs embedded in it's coat the size of a pencil, 2 fish hooks, loaded with fleas and ticks. Pure neglect. |

| I think dog groomers should charge extra to people who bring their dog in for grooming with a matted coat |

| My biggest pet peevee as a groomer is those pet owners that brush their dogs but never behind the ears or under arms. Prime mat locations. |

| We uused to shave of dogs like that in one big chunk, then tack it to the walls of the shop, with a sign that said - Don't let your dog get like this... |

| I hate when people bring their dog in for grooming and they know everytime they bring it their dog is very matted ans going to have to be shaved .-. Why don't you brush your freaking dog Or the people who have a severely compacted matted dog and expect it to have a long cute cut. Like no this thing has to be fully shaved there is no saving this. Take care of your dog if you want it to look cute |
