Camery Valatieri - She listened to him quietly, her eyes soft and her mouth slightly open. She loved him. She told him that. She'd been lied to and she'd seen him like this so many times, and she still loved him. She'd seen him at his worst and best, and she still loved him. She knew about his past... why he was the way he was, and yet again, she still loved him. "While you're waiting? I'm not finding anyone else. No one has ever looked after me the way you have," she whispered gently. "I'm always going to be here for you. I'm not going anywhere, I'm waiting for you," she whispered. "But right now, you can either choose to love me in private, or move on, Kai. I can't see you like this anymore," she whispered.

Camery Valatieri - She gave a soft shrug admittedly not sure how long it would be. Until all of this was over she supposed. "I guess... until they've found whoever tried to kill you. At least then that's a big thing out of the way," she whispered softly to him. When he said he needed a release, she sighed softly. "I can't be that for you right now," she murmured, letting out a soft breath. "I love you Malakai, but I can't do that now. Maybe someone else can for little bit," she murmured. "But I will always be here for you. Always. You can tell me anything," she promised him gently.

Camery Valatieri - Camery furrowed her brows at him when he told her to leave him. The last think she wanted to do was leave him alone. She sighed softly and gave a slow nod, standing up. When he asked for Ori, she couldn't help but send him a bit of a look. The less she spoke to the woman the better, in her opinion. Still, she noted quietly. "Yeah." She wanderered diwn the halls, toward the rooms where some of the royalty were being held up. She knocked on the door where Ori was staying, a lump still in her throat when Orianna opened the door. "Malakai says he wants you," she whispered, her voice really not able to get any louder. She didn't say more than that, though, and just marched back to her room, flopping into her bed and curling up.

Camery Valatieri - Camery sat curled up on her bed for what seemed like hours, her mind racing. She wanted nothing more than to be the person that he could hold on to, the person that he trusted more than anything. But she couldn't be that for him right then. There was so much going on, so much that needed to be fixed. She couldn't love someone fully like this, especially when the person she loved could be so... fragile. She wasn't even sure where she was meant to be doing. Her parents didn't know where she was, although they were sure to find out what had happened at the ball. And she knew she'd said he could go off with someone else, but it still hurt. It hurt that he had someone backed up and ready to go so quickly, as though she was nothing but a place holder. She hated that the person he had was so vile, too. Her thoughts lingered back to the ball, when the woman had mocked her and Malakai had just stood there. He didn't say anything. That hurt... more than she would have liked to admit. She knew Kai could do what he wanted, but the fact she'd just admitted to loving him and he couldn't be satisfied with that burned her chest in a way she just couldn't describe. She told him that she loved him, and that when all this was over, she'd show him that... and that wasn't enough. Her loving him alone wasn't enough.

Camery Valatieri - Camery sat quietly in her room, just curled up in some sort of ball, her mind racing as she scrunched her eyes shut, just trying to block everything out. Kai telling her to get out, or that he had to move or even telling her to get Orianna for him. She wasn't stupid, she knew just fine what that meant. He'd told her what they used to do. She still couldn't believe he'd asked her to go get the woman, knowing just find that Camery didn't like her, just after she'd spilt her guts to him. She couldn't figure out why. Was it to make her jealous? Well, it was working, but more than anything it made her chest constrict the more she thought about it. It hurt so bad. She knew she was the one to push him away, but she didn't think he'd tell her to leave and replace her with someone else like that. She'd asked him not to push her away. She didn't want to make him run to someone else. She'd said that she was here for him, and she loved him, and yet that was the response she got? She didn't understand. When she heard the door fly open and Oriannas voice, she flinched a little bit, but sat up quietly. "What?" She asked when she said something was wrong with Kai. What gave Ori the idea that Cam would know what to do? Still she stood up rather quickly, and followed her up to the man's room. When they entered, he was still there, crying his eyes out. Camery had saw him in this sort of state a few too many times for her liking. She sighed and wandered over, gently sitting on the side of the bed, not even sure if he wanted her there. She didn't say anything, though, and just sat there, her hand gently on his shoulder. She wouldn't be able to get through to him like this, not until he calmed down.
