It makes all the sense dont worry about it lol)) Trixie had invited Will out to a sort of... breaking the news dinner. She couldn't see a future with him where she wasn't used as a therapist. Her parents might dislike her for her decision for a while, but it was the right thing to do. She would make it clear she didn't blame him for the accident, tell him goodbye, pay, and leave. Easy. Simple. It should've been. She found herself sitting across from him, making aimless conversation with a hesitant, unsure man. He was holding her hand rather a lot, and she let him, if reluctantly so. There wasn't any good way to let him down slowly.

It didn't take too long for Matt and Layla to be seated, and once they had he immediately started talking, just so she didn't get there first. Just usual things, anything about her family, what she liked, doing his best to make at least some effort. It was proving difficult though, every question he asked was given answers with lengthly answers and he soon got bored. He didn't see her as ugly, she was in fact to him quite pretty, plus it seemed nice to hear another italian accent. But he felt he might as well shield his eyes from the bright red hair than actually look at her. Matt leant back against his chair out of pure boredom, looking around the room again. His eyes locked on the back of a girls head almost like he..recognised her, but in the end concluded he was again being stupid. He felt a strange warmth on his hand and turned his gaze away from the girl, to find her playing with the ring on his hand rather absentmindedly. If it shut her up, he might aswell let it happen.

They got through some of dinner uneventfully, when Will nodded to a girl behind her, squinting. W "That girl, with the red hair. I think she was in my exchange student program." He nodded, looking back at Trixie. She chose to try and make an effort, waiting a few moments before tossing a light gaze over her shoulder. She didn't catch the woman's face, but she caught the man sitting across from her. Her eyebrows lifted ever so slightly and she turned back around. "Well. That's nice." She nodded vaguely, taking a sip of her drink.

Matt caught a slight movement out the corner of his eye and after a couple seconds looked up to see something he didn't quite expect. Trixie. He kept his gaze locked on her for a little bit, so much so until Layla nearly dragged his face back to her, complaining slightly with a frown. Matt gave a large sigh and averted his gaze back to the girl he was meant to be getting to know, though he kept finding himself looking back at Trixie more and more.

Eventually, they both finished eating. They split the check, got their cards back. That was when Trixie started to talk, twisting her fingers together anxiously under the table. She didn't get very far when Will shook his head, standing and walking over to her. She stood in turn, frowning. She hadn't gotten quite far enough, apparently, because he pulled her in for a kiss She obviously wasn't expecting. Her hands were pressed somewhat awkwardly to his chest, simply because she was in shock and had absolutely no idea what to do.

The kiss that Matt very quickly witnessed shouldn't have bothered him just as much as it did, and it took him a while to actually regain his own composure, the feeling of his sleeve being tugged by Layla the only thing bringing him back to the table he was sat at. Only then did he realise the waiter was standing there waiting to be paid, and he did so very quickly, taking his attention back to the girl. In an attempt to distract himself, he for the first time set his hands on layla without her moving forward first, watching as she traced the veins on his hand and the bones in his knuckles, listening to her talk about when they should leave. He pulled his jacket on after a couple more minutes, watching as she stood up, his gaze intense. Though he clearly wasn't a fan of the girl too much, he instinctively pulled her dress down, though retracted his hand as she reacted.

It took a few moments for Trixie to pull back, and she swallowed, lightly removing her hands from his chest. She was quiet, speaking very softly to Will. There wasn't an argument so much as it seemed she was sharing bad news. It ended with him turning on his heel and leaving. She buried her head in her hands with a sigh, lifting her head and brushing her fingers anxiously over her lips. After, she seemed to recognize where she was and shook her head, glancing around and grabbing her bag. She walked off quickly, her gaze downcast.

just a heads up, i completely forgot about this, i've got a dance comp for about the first time in like four years later today so im not too sure i'll be very active today- just to lyk) - Soon enough, Matt was very much ready to leave, ready to get rid of Layla and send her back to the hotel his dad had brought her too. But of course, she had planted herself firmly by his side by the time they had gotten outside, and it was clear there was absolutely no getting rid of the girl. The brightness hit his eyes straight away, and he scraped his hair away from his face, shielding his gaze slightly as it adjusted from the dimly lit restaurant lights to the bright white lamposts. He managed to talk Layla into standing by the car park to wait for him, giving himself some time to just..think. Think about what he had exactly gotten himself into. He leant against the brick wall around the corner from the entrance of the restaurant, fiddling with his shirt in thought.

Trixie had to walk home; but they were in an area of Vriginia that wasn't too hard to navigate on foot, and it wasn't that far. She turned a corner and started on her way, glancing at a figure leaning against the building. She paused, recognizing none other than Matt. "Hey there, stranger. Looks like I was wrong, huh?" She smiled faintly, a little less energetic than she had been the last time they met. She had her hands jammed lightly in her jean pockets, watching him curiously.

Trixies sudden appearance did make Matt jump slightly, and he looked up, startled. "Oh. Hi" he said bluntly, whilst he regained his composure. "Wrong about what?" He asked, looking over at Layla anxiously, who he could only just see through the bushes. She was busy talking to someone else, and he was relieved she was at least occupied. He stood himself up properly from the wall, brushing his arm down gently. "I have no reason to believe you're not stalking me" he added, giving a slightly playful smile though he could tell something seemed up with her.
