Maxine smiled and nodded "I know..." She said gently "I didn't sleep well either..." She admitted before giving a small nod "I do..." She purred a wider smile crossing her lips "That has a nice ring to it though doesn't it? "I do"" she smirked playfully.

Sage chuckled and pecked her on the cheek lightly. "I'll like it better when you say it at our wedding," he chuckled. They needed to plan that still....but he figured it'd be small and not too much hard work.

Max chuckled "Agreed." she purred happily "I may have already been looking at dresses this morning..." she teased lightly "I don't want something huge but it should be memorable..." she nodded "Don't you think?"

Sage couldn't help but grin at her words. "Sure I think that it should be memorable, though I'll remember it forever even if it's not over the top," he chuckled. He thought for a moment. "Who would you want to invite? You know more people than I do." He really only had travis, but Max had some other friends she could invite, and she should reach out to her parents. If they came, great. If not, they could still enjoy the night.

Max hesitated briefly before she listed off a hand full of people, she didn't know many people either really only those she worked with really spoke to her but other then Ethan and Lizzie she didn't have anyone close to her she didn't know if it was such a good idea to invite her parents part of her longed to she missed her mom when she was pregnant but... She wanted their wedding to be special and not full of arguing and everything to wreck their special day.

Sage listened to her list of some names, half of who he hadn't met yet. He nodded, and thought for a moment. "It'll be small," he admitted. "The only person I know is Travis, and I've only seen him once." That brought a thought to his head. "I wonder what they've all thought of the war," he murmured thoughtfully. He didn't know, and he didn't know what Max might have mentioned to anyone about him being sent out or enlisted or whatever.

Truthfully she only had about 5 people on her list but that was about it "What about his wife?" She asked before she sighed "I don't know how much it actually affected the humans... I mean you guys were in the rift..." She pointed out.

Sage nodded and shrugged. "I'm sure she'd come. The whole family would." Then he scrunched his nose up, thinking. "The weather got funky though," he pointed out. Then he shrugged. "I suppose it doesn't matter, it's over now and i should probably stop worrying about everything." He hoped he could....he had been able to sleep at least, but he had still dreamed and was still pretty tight...his shoulders were still tense, and honestly pretty sore...even Max's healing couldn't help with that.

When he mentioned the whole family she glanced away, would her parents even come? She wondered her thoughts drifting away from the conversation briefly before she was brought back to reality by Sage's voice "I dunno what the humans did or didn't see if we see anyone in the next couple days we'll just say we got mugged or something..." She shrugged. When she noticed how tense he was she smiled and took his empty plate from him "Lay on your stomach lemme see if I can rub some tension out of your shoulders..." She said gently "Charlie is perfectly happy in her bouncer." She assured him.

Sage thought about it and nodded. "I suppose if anyone asks we can just say Im enlisted in the army...they'll just assume it's their army." Then when Max offered to run his shoulders he sighed and lay down as instructed...he wasn't sure how much it would help, but it couldn't hurt, he supposed, so why not. It gave him an excuse to lay around a bit too, so really, it was a win win.
