He looked at her for a moment, slowly nodding as he flicked his gaze back to his phone. "Okay. . ." Max murmured, exiting out of the tab and getting up. "Gonna go get some breakfast then," The man muttered, heading towards the kitchen to go make something quick while his expression was still riddled with confusion, his brow slightly creased. |

"Kay," she mumbled, getting up after he left, getting changed. |

After eating he went and found her again, asking; "Mind if you go out with my friends for a little bit?" He asked, knowing 'going out' meant heading to the bar. |

Kylie opened her mouth to say no. He was supposed to be trying to get over this addiction... but she closed her mouth and then opened to speak again, "Yeah, sure, whatever you want," she mumbled. |

"I mean, I don't really have to go if you want me to stay because of... everything." He murmured, still confused why she was the way she was. |

"Its fine," she mumbled. "Whatever makes you happy," |

"Okay, i'll be back later then, love you," He called, not really expecting her to say it back as he went and got in his car, turning his location off before driving over to the local bar where his friends were waiting, shots already on the table. |

Kylie went on with her day, which turned into the evening. She got ready for bed, getting into bed, but not falling asleep. She tried to, but at every sound, every movement, she spooked. She started to cry. Kylie checked Max's location, but just like she expected, nothing. |

Max barely touched the liquor, chewing the inside of his cheek in worry, as he couldn't even enjoy himself with his friends. He excused himself at about 8:30 pm, driving back to Kylie's and staying in the kitchen for a moment, leaning against the counter on his elbows as he rubbed his temples, his head throbbing from the stress he'd put on himself. The man turned his location back on, seeing his earlier actions as stupid of turning it off. |
