Lorelei yanked her arm back, pinning his arm to the counter and stabbing a steak knife into the counter, directly next to his wrist. "Company. Policy." She growled in warning, pulling the knife out of the table, returning to serving someone else.

"That's my girl" Kai muttered under his breath, waiting. Once the bar closed, Jim waited around the corner outside in the alley for Lorelei. When she finally stepped out of the door, Jim pinned her against the wall by her throat. Kai immedietly jumped into action, easily snapping Jim's neck and dropping him to the floor. "Lorelei..." Lorelei wasnt scared of the first man, he probably just wanted some action and then he'd leave. But she was afraid of the second man. She couldn't see who it was, but he knew her name, her real name. She went by Trixie while working at the bar and for clients. Lorelei knew what that meant, she was a target and he was a killer. Lorelei paled and bolted, running.

Lorelei ended up in a dead end. "Stay away," she warned, pulling the steak knife out of her bag.

"Lorelei, it's me" He said, his face still shadowed but less in the moonlight. "I promise, I won't hurt you." He said, hands out, palms forward, rifle slung over his back without the magazin even in it. "Trust me. I'm sorry. I love you. I didn't mean anything I said that day, I don't know what came over me. I promised forever and I broke that promise. Kill me if you want, but you needed to know before I went to my grave or you went to yours without telling you. Loreleis gaze softened, realizing it was Kai, and then hardened again, angry and upset. "No. You don't get to fucking do this!! You don't get to just stroll back into my life like this!!" She screamed at him. "No! You broke my heart and me just because you got bored!! You don't get to break my heart to go sleep with other women and then ask for me back once you get bored of them!!! I thought we were forever!! Now I sell my body off to drunk men just to get away from the pain!! If I have to live like this, then you get to live with your guilt, if you even have any!!"
