Elara watched him as he curled back up, nodding with a chuckle. "My point exactly," She mused, Liz running over to Varys and throwing her arms around his neck. "Vary!" She exclaimed, the wolf letting out a sigh.

Sage had enough energy in him to throw his daughter an amused look before blacking out again. It was maybe an hour after that though when he woke again, this time because of a coughing fit. He wound up having to sit up in order to fix it, chest aching by the time he'd finished.

Elara perked up when she heard him coughing, worried. "You alright?" She called, walking slowly over.

He sort of waved the girl off, not wanting to worry her. "Fine," he noted, taking a deep breath, though that set him off again, and it was a good thirty seconds or longer before his body stopped shaking. His chest hurt by them, of course, and he used his shirt to wipe the beads of sweat off his face with a groan of annoyance

Elara came back with a cold towel, dabbing his face with it before settling it back behind his neck. She handed him a tin with a salve in it, noting its purpose. "Rub this wherever it helps, don't know how it works but it takes all the pain away. Used it all the time when I would get hurt back home,"

Normally, sage would have insisted he was alright, or at least that he could wipe his own face off. Now, however, he felt crappy enough he welcomed the cool touch of the cloth on his skin, as well as the salve she handed over. "Thanks," he sighed, still rather annoyed by it all.

She nodded, looking at her bow and quivel propped up in the corner then back at Liz. "Anytime, you practically saved me from that living hell so, just trying to thank you in any way I can." Elara murmured, shaking her head lightly at the thought of leaving the girl with Sage since he was sick.

Sage sort of shook his head slightly, flopping back against the headboard. "You saved me out of my own living he," he pointed out. "We're even," he added, closing his eyes tiredly. He did note her glance though, and knew she did need to hunt. But he didn't want to get Liz sick either. Their choices weren't great.

Elara let out a soft sigh, deciding today wasn't the day to go hunt... nor had the day been the past three months.. She longed for it, yet, she had to make sure Sage didn't try to say he was fine or something stupid like that and make everything worse, and she couldn't leave Liz since she had to keep an eye on her----plus, Elara was pretty sure a girl as young as her would scare off any chance of getting a kill.

Sage didn't last too long before coughing again, though this time he glanced over at elara with a sort of grimace. "If I keep doing this I'll throw up...can you drag the trash can over here," he sort of sighed, not moving from where he was hunched over on the bed.
