Trixie mirrored him and moved her laptop aside. "Your politeness is appreciated." Italian. His accent was Italian. She glanced at her hands and then back up at him. "It means it's complicated. But no, I don't have a boyfriend. No need to hold back." She shrugged, offering him a playful smile. Her gaze flicked to the other girl he noticed, not too disturbed by it.

Matt narrowed his eyes with a smile, re-moving his hair out his left eye. "You don't sound too sure. Because of that I think i'll hold back" he teased, sitting back in his seat. "So what's your name?" He asked, his heart racing slightly at the question. Whatever she answered could confirm if he actually knew who she was or not, possibly.

Trixie shrugged. "Ah, well. Your loss." She shrugged, tilting her head slightly and leaning over the table slightly. She narrowed her eyes at his question, settling slightly. "Guess." She suggested playfully, smiling at him.

"Don't think too highly of yourself darling" Matt laughed, surprised by the girls confidence. He most definitely liked that in a girl though, so that was something. "I'm not guessing. You don't have to tell me, it was purely just a polite question" he smiled, putting both his hands up for a second in mock offense. He dragged his finger over the pad of the laptop to turn it back on, then settled his gaze back on the girl.

"I'll try my best, love." Trixie smiled, winking at him lightly. She gave a fake, slight pout at his answer, leaning back against her booth. "Awh, you're no fun, are you? I thought it'd be a nice little game. What's your name, then, and I'll tell you mine." She nodded, lightly twirling a tendril of hair around her finger, taking a sip out of her coffee and glancing out the window at the faint fall morning.

Matt raised his eyebrows and looked at the girl, his head tilting again slightly. His gaze had landed on another girl who was looking in their direction, and he felt himself getting slightly bored..quickly. "Mhm? Matt" he said bluntly, tearing his eyes away from the girl to look back at the person he was having a conversation with, which probably seemed like the best idea. "Or if you wanna go posh, Matteo. Italian" he added, swiping dust off his arm as he spoke.

Trixie looked back at her 'friend' and followed his gaze to another woman. It shouldn't bother her. It didn't. She told herself that. She blinked in slight surprise at his name, the faintest flicker of recognition. Another at Matteo. From where, she had no idea. Just her post-coma brain, she supposed. "Trixie. Which do you prefer, if you don't mind my asking?" She asked faintly, waking her computer up with a slightly worried glance at it. She needed to be working on it if she was to get it done by the deadline, but... well, did she really care?

The name she gave had confirmed what Matt had been thinking- he did in fact recognise it. Whether it was someone he knew or just the accident taking over and making him think stupid shit, it was still a scary feeling. As he relayed what she said, he decided on the second reason. Trixie didn't exactly seem like the type of girl he would..go for. She definitely wasn't his type. He smiled and let out the breath that had been held whilst he thought in a long exhale, looking at her in amusement. "Matt" he said bluntly, leaning back on his chair. "And by all means don't let me interrupt you, feel free to go back to doing your own thing" he shrugged, gesturing towards the laptop, a slight playful smile on his lips. The more patronising he was able to be, the better he felt.

"I'd hate to be rude." Trixie said sarcastically, throwing a flat look at him and raising her eyebrows. "If you'd like to keep talking, by all means, I'll listen." She shrugged, looking at her computer and lightly swiping her tongue over her lips. She took a sip of her drink and glanced at him.

"As much as i'd love too, i've gotta go." Matt said, though realistically that was a lie. He could have stayed in that coffee shop all afternoon talking to her if she really wanted to, but she looked somewhat pre occupied, and like he'd thought earlier he was getting bored. "I'll see you around?" He asked, shutting his laptop rather abruptly. He knew nothing about Trixie and therefore had no idea how he'd contact her, but at least the closing sentence was somewhat polite.
