When sage spotted the ripples coming towards the beach, he moved to roll his pants up and wade out to greet Remy again. When he introduced the mermaid, he cocked his head slightly. "Elder? You look mighty good for being an elder," he noted with a small smile, nodding in greeting. He glanced back at Remy then, giving him a curious glance. "What are you thinking then," he asked softly. (Also this is sort of the idea I've got for what sages tail will look like...https://www.pinterest.com/pin/5559199537079539/ and https://www.pinterest.com/pin/8725793024829843/)

Rosalie smiled. "Ever the charmer," she hummed. Remy smiled softly up at Sage. "She can give you a spell, so you can turn into a merman whenever you like, and choose when you do so, so you'll still be able to touch water without turning," Remy explained.

Sage listened as Remy explained it, eyebrows shooting up in shock. "Really," he noted. "You can do that?" Judging by Rosalies chuckle, it was in fact something she could do. But he didn't have a problem with it. "Could you add in the ability to communicate underwater and things like that," he asked. "I...don't know how you guys do that. And breathing through gills won't be natural for me either," he pointed out. He'd need a good bit of help with this one

"The gills come with the tail, little one," Rosalie chuckled. "I'll teach you how to breath and communicate with gill clicks," Remy promised.

Sage sort of blinked and nodded, mind reeling. It was a lot to take in, but he did trust Remy. And he did want to be with him. "I'll keep the house going here, just in case we need it here or there," he noted. "But I think living in the ocean is safer anyway, if my father's still trying to get us both back," he thought out loud. He looked back at Rosalie. "What do I need to do?"

Remy nodded, with a soft, loving smile. Rosalie nodded, "Get ready to have a tail, and come back here, and I will perform the spell,"

Sage nodded, moving to put the food away and then get ready, as she'd put it, as quickly as possible before wading back out. He was a bit nervous, he supposed ...but being with Remy was the most important thing. "Right. I...think I'm ready," he noted, glancing at Rosalie. If he forgot something, she'd know.

Remy smiled, waiting. Rosalie pushed herself up into a seated position. "Come here, little one, lay in the water,"

Sage glanced at Remy, but moved to take the hand the elder had offered him, moving to lay down next to her, though he did make sure to keep his face above the water, as well as his ears so he could hear her. He reached for remys hand, just finding comfort in having him there. He wanted to do this, but...it was still a big change, and he didn't exactly know Rosaline either. Even so, he may still and awaited her next directions, heart pounding from both nerves and excitement.

Remy smiled. Rosalie waved her hands over his body, reciting ancient words over his body. Soon enough, the transformation happened, a tail replacing his legs. Remy smiled, squeezing his hand.
