Kylie wiped her cheeks. "I know.. its not your fault... I just... Its stupid... nevermind..." she mumbled. "... I'm just gonna go shower..." she mumbled, dragging her feet to the bathroom.

"Kylie," He murmured once more, watching as she left before sighing and running a hand through his hair. Today would be a long day...
| |
| |

Kylie got into the shower, silently crying. Max didn't understand... he'd never had to go through anything like that and probably never would.
| |

Max felt terrible, head in his hands as he sat in silence for a long while. Their relationship was finally getting better after what he did the first time, and now he'd messed up again.

Kylie got out of the shower, getting ready for bed and curling up underneath the covers, still crying quietly, but didn't fall asleep not alone. A little bit later, her mother came in to check on her, settling beside her and gently comforting her daughter as she cried.

He went and showered, coming back and laying beside Kylie. "I'm here now, you're safe." Max murmured to her, her mom having left when she saw him walk in.
| |
| |

Kylie immediately clung onto Max, sobbing into his chest.
| |

"Shh, you're okay..." He assured in a soft voice, wrapping his arms around her.
| |
| |

A while later, she managed to calm down, still clinging onto him.
| |

"Try to sleep, i'm right here, you're safe." He murmured softly, keeping her close.
