Emery eventually got out of classes for the day, tiredly walking into the dorm and her face lighting up in shock, looking around before they landed on Noah, a grin present on her face. "Oh my god," She muttered, shutting the door behind her. "Noah-I-Babe you didn't have to do all this," Emery informed, still smiling as she set her stuff down and walked over to him, pressing a kiss to his lips. "Shit," She muttered, looking back up at him. "Well I feel really bad now, I completely forgot today was Valentine's Day and didn't get you anything, i'm sorry." She apologized, looking back out at the rose petals scattered.

Noah Carpenter - Noah smiled, kissing her back. "Its okay. I forgot too, this was all very last minute," he chuckled. ( Maybe she eats super fast and then leaves to go do her homework, leaving Noah alone to finish his food and clean up and such? )

(aight) She just said nothing, pulling away after a moment. "I really am sorry, Noah.I have loads of homework and another chapter," Emery trailed off, already mad about it.She wanted to spend time with her man, but was instead stuck with papers with knowledge she'd never use again.

Noah Carpenter - Noah deflated. On Valentines Day? Really? She couldn't spare 20 minutes just to eat with him on Valentines Day? "Okay..." he muttered, watching her as she left and went to their study room. His shoulders slumped, left alone, on Valentines Day. He didn't have an appetite left so he scooped up their dinner which he'd already set out onto plates and put them in leftover containers for later, then washing the dishes. He started crying then. Silently crying, just tears dripping down his cheeks. He vacuumed up the rose petals on the ground, but left out her unopened presents and flowers on the table for her, whenever she found the time for him. Noah went to bed not long after, still silently crying as he curled up and drifted off to sleep, all alone, on Valentines Day.

Emery finally finished her work and sighed, pushing it all away and holding her head in her hands. She could've spared even just ten minutes, yet she didn't. She'd been so focused on her stupid degree that she hadn't said anything to Noah beside the occasional greeting. Eventually she stood, head pounding, heart aching, as she got ready for bed.Once ready she went into the bedroom and curled up next to Noah, eyes red from crying earlier. "I'm sorry Noah, just know that." The woman whispered, backing away from him slightly before drifting off.

Noah Carpenter - Noah woke early the next morning. He'd made plans with Henry last night to meet up for breakfast and eat together so he could talk to Henry about how messed up his relationship was right now. Noah had always gone to Henry when he needed help, before they fell out of touch. The flowers from last night were wilted on the counter where Noah left a note for her, reading Going out to breakfast with Henry, be back later

She woke roughly twenty minutes after he'd left, getting dressed quickly and walking into the main room, seeing the note. Going out to breakfast with Henry, be back later Henry? Who the heck was Henry? King Henry? Henry Ford? No, Noah wasn't that popular, or old, if going back to the first option.Anyways, thats beside the point, moving on. She didn't know who Henry was but shrugged it off, cracking open and lounging around for the next thirty minutes, having finished her notes and the textbook, now sad she didn't tell Noah in advance she'd be free for a moment in the morning. Emery sighed and stood, walking out to her class and taking a earlier mid - term.

Noah Carpenter - Noah went down to a local cafe and met up with Henry, sitting down across the table from him. They talked for a good long while. Noah could tell him what was going on, and Henry actually listened, always offering his support. Noah was very grateful for him.

Emery came back after grabbing a small lunch. She walked in and shut the door, tossing her bag aside and flopping onto the couch, rubbing her temple as a headache creapt up.The woman sighed, glancing around. She looked like a trainwreck, that's for sure.Shadows under her eyes, eyes tinted a slight red, hair amess.

Noah remained, talking to Henry well into the afternoon. The flowers from last night still sit on the counter, wilted, her gifts remained unopened.
