Elara went and grabbed the blankets off his chair, piling them ontop of him before heading to go get Liz something to eat as she started complaining about being hungry. The woman chuckled at her sass, finding it amusing as she went and got her something.

Sage felt a bit guilty about handing the baby off to elara, who had plenty of other things to do, especially with him out of the count, but he felt too gross to care much. Even with blankets on him, he found himself shivering in his sleep, sweat beading on his skin and dampening his hair where he was curled up.

Once Liz was settled in an area where Elara could keep an eye on her, she went and got a damp towel before walking over to Sage, and pressing it against his forhead and cheeks before settling it on the back of his neck and tending back to Liz.

Sage did relax slightly when the cool towel pressed against his skin, able to slip into a deeper sleep as he relaxed a little bit. He did wake a few hours later, groaning when he came to since his head was pounding by then. He did peer around to check on Liz, and then flopped back over with a sigh.

"Oh good, you're finally up at... 2 in the afternoon." She chuckled, taking the towel off his neck before replacing it with a cooler one and pressing it in the same areas before settling it on his neck. Elara went and got more of the medicine, handing it over.

Sage sort of gave her a sheepish grin, sitting up when she moved to take the towel, letting her press another one to his skin. "Feel like shit," he noted, taking the medicine and wrinkling his nose and coughing after swallowing it. It really did taste terrible. "Still foul," he noted, flopping over onto the bed.

Elara chuckled softly at his comment as she dabbed the cloth against his skin, shaking her head lightly. "Would've expected that since you're still burning up so bad," She murmured, nodding her head in agreement at the taste of the medicine. "I know right? Why must they make it taste so terrible?" The woman chuckled, heading to go put it up.

Sage grunted in agreement, setting the medicine cup down with a sigh, wrapping the blankets around him tighter again. "People would use it more if it tasted better," he noted, blowing a strand of hair out of his face. "I don't have time to lay around," he grumbled tiredly after a moment, though he knew he couldn't do anything the way he was.

|
"Absolutely," She nodded, bringing Liz over who currently, was very interested in trying to shove a large rock in her mouth. "Let's not eat that," Elara murmured, tossing it out. The woman rolled her eyes at his comment, just chuckling. "Sage, I bet you could go start 'working' for a few minutes then have to stop since it'd feel too bad so, just rest, have a lazy day. You need it anyways,"

|
Sage chuckled softly when elara grabbed the little girl and brought her inside, though he was wary of getting her sick. He wasn't doing real well, and she was more vulnerable than he was by a decent bit. He groaned at elaras comment, though he knew it was true. "I know," he grumbled. "It's annoying," he added. He could feel his eyes growing heavy again already though, so he let himself slump over and curl up again.
