Kayla smiled and watched him leave
| |
Gale walked slowly, tossing his cloak into the fire. "Enough of it,of everything." He snarls, the flames dancing across his face.
| |
Kayla got out her dagger and mindlessly turned it over in her hands
| |
Gale walked back into the tent, cloak burned, smelling of cedar. "Oh yeah, forgot to mention like,a while ago I killed the king." He says, sitting and sharpening his arrows.
| |
Kayla was silent for a moment, not expecting this. "He had it coming" She said quietly
| |
"Of course he did,he tortured me for months. He broke me,of course he had it coming. Why would I let him live?" He asks,a tone.
| |
"I wasn't saying you shouldn't have." She said quietly
| |
"Well,I know that.He deserved it 100%.If I could go back in time i'd make his death more grueome and painful." He says, starting to carve into the arrow instead of sharpening it.
| |
Kayla nodded, watching him
| |
"Should've killed him the first time I saw him. That night in the gardens I should've just left," He starts, carving around half way into the arrow. "Should've left everything. No trauma,no pain, and no bloody flashbacks!" He stops, arrow now split as his chest heaved.Gale sighed, setting the arrow down and leaning his head back, shutting his eyes and breathing in.
