Nathan Croft - Nate jumped up from his seat in class and rushed out the door, terrified that something might've happened to her. He ignored his teachers demands for him to sit down as he ran out of the class, and driving fast over to her place, where Dakota departed from on Secret. |

Dakota could feel the pain, stabs into her back and side and seg along with her ankle. She felt the pain and wanted to scream, but she wasn't able to. She wanted to yell and call for help, but she was stuck in this black prison |

Nathan Croft - Nate pulled into Dakotas place and found Secret, grazing just outside of her house. "Shit..." he muttered, approaching the mare. Nate mounted the horse and raced off into the woods, calling out "Dakota!? Dakota?! Where are you?!" |

Dakota came to, all the rest of the pain crashing onto her. She screamed in pain as her eyes blackened around the edges of her vision. She couldn't feel anything but pain |

Nathan Croft - Nate heard the scream, a flock of crows fluttering up from the trees around her, alerted Nate to where she was. He galloped Secret to that spot and found her. There was blood. Everywhere. Nate quickly dismounted and rushed over to her. "Dakota, no, no, no, no...." he mumbled, tears streaming down his face as he cradled her head in his lap. He quickly called 911, explaining the situation and giving the operator their location before hanging up. "Don't leave me... please... don't go... I love you..." he cried to her. |

Dakota felt her consciousness slipping as she saw Nate. "Nate...." She breathed faintly. She closed her eyes, scared and in pain. She heard his pleas but couldn't answer as the pain didn't let up and she blacked out again. She couldn't think. There was a black wall stopping her from waking and she felt alone, though she still felt Nate holding her. The medics showed up then, grabbing Dakota as she cried out in pain. They placed her on the bed and loaded her into the ambulance, ushering Nate with her |
