| Storm, you can do it! I felt the same for a long time - looked at lots of options at different price points. If you go for a flat it’s more doable in my view, but depends what your requirements are of course |

| definitely depends where you live. Our brand new townhouse was bought for around 530,000 but last I checked they went up to over 700,000 CAD. 2165 sq ft. |

| Depends a LOT on where you live. When I was living in Southern California 1 million was normal for a townhouse. Here in Maine $100,000 will get you into a nice little fixer upper that's single family. I don't get the townhouse thing. |

| We just got a 50 question 4 page study guide for the final we take on Wednesday next week. He wants it done when we walk in on Monday. This might actually be my last straw. |

| Storm - mine was around 400k (plus about 20k on floors and extra stuff), but I do live in a not super expensive part of the country. The price is a bit higher cos it’s a new build, too |

| Yeah you’re right - I’ve heard some horror stories! My old flat was in a 250 year old building and had a roof that literally poured water whenever it rained, so wanted something new and hopefully solid lol |
