Celeste Harlow - Celeste tucked her head into his chest, starting to cry. "...I wanted kids of our own..." she sobbed into his chest, clinging onto him tightly. Yes, Celeste did love Lizzie very much, just as if she were her own daughter, but it wasn't the same. She and Celeste would never share the same bond a mother and child had. They just couldn't. - ( Yeah, we can also timeskip after they fall asleep tonight or something )

(that works for me) Sage let out a soft breath and just hugged her tighter, humming softly. "I know. I wanted your babies too," he hummed quietly. It did hurt, and he had to fight back tears of his own. Soon enough though, the water had started to get cold, so he patted her back softly. "Come on, let's try to get to sleep," he murmured gently, moving to turn the water off and grab towels for them.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste sobbed against his chest. The reality of not being able to have kids of their own with him was defeating. She nodded and got out of the shower, wrapping a towel around herself. With his help, she dried off and got ready and into bed, all while crying her eyes out.

Sage followed, busying himself just making sure she was alright. Well...as alright as she could be. He just lay with her once they got to bed, doing his best to be a comfort, and not letting himself slip off to sleep until she'd calmed down and fell asleep herself.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste cuddled into Sage and cried herself to sleep that night, but eventually, she did fall asleep.

Once Celeste had drifted off, he tugged the blankets up and over them both, nestling in with a sigh before falling asleep himself.

Celeste Harlow - Over the next couple of months, Celeste continued to be upset about the baby situation, to the point where if someone was to mention a baby she would cry. It was even almost tricky to be around Lizzie. But the time came around eventually, she was fertile. But even now, they couldn't have a baby. Celeste woke one morning in Sage's arms, and immediately cuddling into him. She knew she was fertile, and she knew Sage would be able to smell it.

Sage hadn't been much help consoling Celeste whenever she saw a baby. Or heard about a baby. Or anything about a baby. He wasn't much better....he'd become quiet. Distant. But he did his best to help her. When he felt her curl up into him, he sort of shifted still half asleep. He'd almost drifted off again when her scent hit him, and admittedly he was immediately awake, nose twitching. He felt a slight rumble grow in his throat and he pulled back enough to sniff her, ears flickering around as if making sure he wasn't imagining things. "Celeste....you smell... absolutely delicious," he purred softly. He was barely constraining himself, but he didn't want to start something she didn't want either. But just laying here was ....rather hard. Especially since he knew she didn't wear a bra to bed or anything.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste grinned sleepily."Do I now?" she teased lightly, throwing her leg over him and wrapping it around him to bring him closer, and a silent way to tell him she wanted it too.

Sage hummed in response to her comment, fingers already finding their way under the hem of her shirt as he rolled over on top of her with a chuckle. "You definitely do," he purred heavily, voice thick with desire.
