Ryker shut his mouth quickly as Abby's expression changed from giggling to sheer terror. He quickly jumped up and followed her, grabbing her shoulder. "Abby, you're home. Gavin is no where near. You're safe." He said quietly yet firmly, still not having figured out the best way to deal with this- and getting angry at himself for forgetting and bringing it up. Why couldn't he just shut up every once in a while?

Abby took deep breaths. "Home..." she whispered to herself. "Home. Safe. Ryker. Sun. Shadow. Serpant. Wedding. " she quietly listed off the things she was thankful for, slowly bringing herself too. She turned without a word and hugged Ryker. "Thank you... again..." she mumbled

Ryker stood there until Abby turned. He then wrapped her arms around her. "I'm sorry for mentioning him. I'm just glad you're here, with me, at this amazing place, and we're getting married." He smiled slightly, sucking in a small breath. It was slowly getting dark out- their whole day, gone in a flash. One day closer to the day that would change their lives forever. One of two days rumored to change lives the most- getting married and having your first kid. Yikes. Thar sounded more than terrifying now. Aaaand he was freaking himself out. Yay.

Abby gave a weak smile as his arms wrapped around her. She felt more secure than ever every time he held her. "It's not your fault. It's his fault. "She didn't say his name because she didn't want to fall into his trap again. "Thank you Ryker. Thank you for staying with me though I know it can be tough at times" she gave a slight chuckle at her own joke. Abby turned and leaned against him, putting her arms over his arms to hold his hands. "Ok. What's the sleeping deal for tonight? My room, your room, separate rooms, couch, barn, what?" She tilted her head up so she could see his face

Ryker still blamed himself a little for just not mentioning the person, but it couldn't be changed now. As Abby spoke he nodded a little, then tilted his head. "I have to admit, if I hadn't fallen head over heels in love with you I probably would've left by now..." He teased with a grin. "I'm kidding. You are amazing and I would never leave. You're not any trouble at all." He added with a small laugh. At her question he lifted his eyebrows slightly. "Although, you should know by now that's a silly question to ask me. You figure it out, and I will go along with what you decide. Don't force my brain to do extra work." He snorted jokingly.

Abby blushed at his comment. "Glad I'm not THAT big of a pest" she giggled. "And since you dont care..." she wobble walked, pulling him with her and not letting his arms go. She flopped onto his bed. "It just smells good in here. Your scent is calming. Don't ask why" she got up, grabbed one of his shirts and a pair of shorts that she kept in there and quickly changed in the bathroom before coming back in and throwing back the blanket. She laid down, pulling the blanket up around her neck.

"Not THAT big." Ryker grinned back, half following half being dragged into his room, the much more bland one. He liked a smaller looking cozy space, so the walls were a darker grey. There was only one window, and it looked straight out at the forest. The bed rested right under that window, and at the edge of the window and the head of the bed there was a shelf for stuff. At the moment the window shelf had one book and the headboard shelf had around 13 pocket knives. The rest of the room was pretty empty, save for one single comfy looking chair and a closet door, where he kept his meager amount of clothing. At her random comment about his scent he spent more time figuring out whether he should think about that or not than it would've taken to assess she said don't ask why. As he plaintitively watched another one of his shirts get stolen, he said a silent farewell and waited. When Abby came out and flopped down on the bed his brain short curcited for half a second for no apparent reason before he went to lay down, on the giant bed, on top of the covers because he was at just the right temp and didn't need to warm up.

Abby scooted across his bed until she was hip to hip with him, except for the blanket separating them. She pulled her legs out from under the blanket and laid on her side, one arm over him and a leg curling around his leg. She closed her eyes but then decided she wasn't comfortable enough. She pulled her arm off of him, grabbed his arm, and held it close. She lifted her head just enough that she could lay it on his bicep. She gave a happy sigh and colored her eyes for the last time. "I love you so much. I can't tell you how much I do. You get me through everything" she whispered before dosing off for a few minutes.

Ryker then braced himself for a whole lot of Abby movement. First she wiggled over, then sideways, then up, then down, he didn't even know how it happened but she managed to, then she finally seemed comfortable, and his limbs had been moved in way too many ways- but now he could finally fall asleep. It was like a routine at this point. He had definitely perfected going limp so it was easily to just grab his arm and flop it wherever. As she spoke, barely audibly, Ryker tilted his head towards her and gently pressed a kiss to her forehead- the best he could, given the position he was in. "I love you too. And I can't express in words what you do for me." He whispered back with a small smile as she konked off immediately. First time in like, ever, she had fallen asleep before him. Ryker closed his eyes, and within seconds, he was out.

It was early when she woke up. Probably because she had slept for most of the day yesterday. Abby didn't move because she didn't want to wake Ryker. It took her a second to realize she had to move. She gave a slight stretch before prying herself off of him. She rolled away, touching her feet to the floor before standing up. She walked into the kitchen. +might as well surprise him+ as she walked to go get her paints, she stopped by her wedding binder. +I'll get to it later+ she thought, swinging her arms as she collected the paints and a perfect bacon picture. She stood on the counter as she painted, trying to keep it as still as possible while not dripping paint anywhere. Somehow she managed to keep herself and the counter clean after about thirty minutes of work. "Done" she muttered to herself with a smile as she stared up at the bacon on the ceiling.
