Emery just nodded, eventually finishing off a chapter and going to work on the last one assigned for that evening. She got it done and shut the book, setting aside her notes before getting ready for bed.Emery walked tiredly into the bedroom and flopped down, falling asleep quickly. |

Noah Carpenter - Noah was already asleep by the time she'd come to bed, curled up under the blankets. |

She slept a dreamless sleep, waking early the next morning to do more work. |

Noah Carpenter - Noah woke after her. He looked around before getting up, finding her in their study room, working away. He sighed and went to go make her some coffee. He brought her back a mug of it and set it down on her desk. "Morning, love," he murmured, kissing her head. |

"Morning," Emery said quietly, already zoned in on taking notes and reading the textbook.She sipped on the coffee and echanged pencils, going back to writing. |

Noah Carpenter - "Are you free tonight? I was thinking maybe taking you out for dinner, like a date," he asked happily. |

"I'm sorry, babe. I hae classes tonight, maybe another day?" She asks, opening her laptop. |

Noah Carpenter - Noahs shoulders slumped a bit. "Okay," he sighed, going to get ready for the day. |

Emery eventually finished and got dressed, grabbing a RedBull on her way out. "I'm headed out," She called, shutting the door behind her. |

Noah Carpenter - "Oh- okay, I-" he was cut off by her shutting the door. "...love you..." he said quietly, finishing his sentence to no one. He flopped back onto the bed, scrolling through his phone. A notification popped up on his phone, it was Valentines Day. It seemed both of them had completely forgotten. Well, with that, Noah went out to the store, buying heaps of roses for her, and all the cheesy gifts. A teddy bear, chocolates, even a pretty nice, expensive necklace. While he was running his errand, he ran into Henry, his ex from a while ago. They'd been best friends since forever but just fell out of touch for a while. It was good to see him again. They chatted for a good while there, even getting lunch together. Once Noah got home, he set everything up, sprinkling rose petals everywhere and on the island in the kitchen, he'd set out her gifts and even made them a nice dinner. Noah had put a lot of effort into it. He'd set everything up, surely she'd notice and remember it was Valentines Day. |
