Dakota nodded faintly, tired and wishing rest would overcome her emotions. She closed her eyes, only to slip right into sleep for the next 2 hours

Elijah cradled Ethan, smiling down at him.

Dakota woke a couple hours later, anicking for a moment before seeing Elijah still holding their son. She sighed, relieved and smiled

Elijah smiles, "You're awake love? Feeling better?" he asks.

"A bit." She says. "May I?" She asks, wanting to hold their baby

Elijah nods, carefully passing Ethan over to her

She smiles down at Ethan, content. She just looked at him as he fell asleep, then up at Elijah, tears in her eyes again

Elijah gently sits on hte edge of the bed, wrapping an arm around her and kissed her head as he watched her with their son.

"He's ours." She said, a tear rolling down her cheek. "You and I have a son." She mused quietly

Elijah nods, kissing her tears away. "We do"
