He smiled when she practically whined his name, a smirk of satisfaction overcoming his features. "Hm?" He asked, slipping his other hand under her top and search, pulling away when she did. Though, he couldn't really go anywhere, since she had her hand tangled in his hair and yanking him closer but, he didn't really mind it. Gale kissed her again, a smidge rougher this time as he realized how much he had missed her. She had gotten him somewhat beneath her, though half of him still wasn't.

Selene whimpered quietly, another soft sound slipping out as his other hand found purchase on her skin. "I've missed you so much," she whined, melting into his next kiss with a hint of surprise at how rough he was being. She rather liked it, not stopping for even a second to pull away, though her hand did finally loosen on his hair when she remembered he wasn't going anywhere either. Having him somewhat beneath her played into her favor as she nibbled on his lower lip, her hand grazing over that spot that he liked again, her thumb rubbing lightly over the area. She had forgotten how much she loved his taste and his touch, how much she had missed having her with her at every moment.

He grinned at the noises which escaped her, continuing to kiss her either way. Gale was glad when she loosened on his hair, it now not feeling like his skull was about to get ripped open. Though, when she nibbled on his lip it surprised him some, her teeth not the thing he was expecting to feel. The man felt her hand graze over the area, her thumb making it feel even more delightful. A groan slipped from his lips from it, his head tilting back slightly as he tried to keep quiet.

A giggle escaped when she noticed how her nibbles had surprised him, her tongue soon following to soothe what would be the non-existent sting of her actions as she prolonged their kiss for a moment longer before breaking it again. "You don't have to be quiet if you don't want to be," she murmured, her lips trailing over his neck, leaving kisses between words. Her guards wouldn't say a single word, and even if they did what would it matter? They were married and enjoying themselves. With that in mind Selene continued to touch him, her hands exploring more of whatever he'd let her.

When Selene said he didn't have to be quiet, he let the groan slip from his lips, melting into her touch. Gale readjusted so she could get more of his neck, his hands pulling her onto his chest before resting on her hips. The familiar weight of her against him made him smile ever so slightly, for the thing he'd been longing for had finally come back.

His groan sent chills down her spine and she took full advantage of his neck being more accessible. She was mindful not to leave any sort of love mark, unsure if it would be something he was alright with or not. It felt good to be on top of him, though, her body melting against his, his warmth slowly intoxicating her. She had waited so long to have him there, to have him just as happy to have her as she was to him. "I'm not hurting you, am I?" She questioned, her head pulling away from his neck as she remembered his injuries. Would she be putting too much weight on him? He hadn't seemed to be in pain, but she had to be sure before she got ahead of herself.

He looked back up at her when she pulled away, curious as to why she had. Gale listened to her words, shaking his head. "Nope, they don't really even bother me anymore." The man explained, knowing he was talking about the physical wounds and not the mental. The image of men torn apart on the field, the screams and begs, the fire, the fear, everything came flooding back to him. His brow furrowed slightly as he rested his cheek against the pillow, gazing out the window for a moment before slipping his eyes shut and convincing himself he wasn't there anymore, and that he was safe. Gale's expression softened when he opened his eyes again, looking back up at Selene with a look of awe at her beauty.

Selene nodded, content with his answer. If he said he was alright, then she'd trust his word until she knew better. She watched him as he looked out the window, knowing all too well where his mind had went without even having to ask. She didn't speak on it, letting him come back in his own time. And as he looked at her again with that look, she smiled, brushing her fingers through his hair gently before pressing her lips to his in a brief but thorough kiss. "I love when you look at me like that.. Never fails to give me butterflies," she murmured, smiling when their lips had soon parted.

Gale was glad when she didn't ask, chuckling at her words about him. "I'm like a moth to a flame, always drawn to you. Might just be because you're so gorgeous, or maybe because I can't look at anything else." He mused, chuckling while she kissed him. "Well, seems i'll have to keep doing it, then." The man mused, grinning up at her with his usual soft expression.

Selene laughed softly, not caring either way about why he was so drawn to her, as long as he was. That was all that mattered. She just knew that she wanted him looking at her like that for the rest of their lives. "Oh, please do.." she mused, drawing back a little to look at him as she straddled him, her legs on either side of his waist. She returned that softened look, a small smile curving up her lips. She adored him with her entire being. She had prayed for him, begged for his return, and now she had him right where she wanted him to be. She hoped that their happiness together would never end, and that her father and war would never come between them.
