Jaden looked up from the blender. "I forgot to tell you that I just have a smoothie every morning, sorry. I was gonna make it myself." He chuckled. "I'm guessing your room was wonderful if you slept in." He mused.

"Oh, okay. I can do that for you," she offered. "Yeah, its wonderful," she hummed with a smile.

Jason smiled lopsidedly. He had hoped she wouldv'e liked the room. A few minutes later he took his smoothie from Esme's hand, sipping on it softly. "Nice. Thanks." He turned towards the door, planning to go for a small run down the long driveway and back. He did this a lot.

"Of course, sir" she hummed, dipping her head and then cleaned up. She cleaned the kitchen, really deep cleaning it, and then it was lunchtime.

Jason came back from his run,, sweat slicking his hair down and running down the back of his neck. He sighed and said hi to Esme before turning to head to his room down the hallway to change.

Esme waved and greeted him softly, continuing to cook. That lunch she presented him a grilled chicken and ceasar salad sandwich.

"Oh wow." Jason murmured as he sat down at the table, going to eat as his phone dinged with an E-mail. "Oh shit... Esme can you help me for a sec? I have a question." Jason held up his phone so she could read- You are invited to an annual work banquet being hosted by Micheal Johnmon. It is a spouse/partner banquet, so aquantiences are allowed. Please bring a dish if you Can to support us. Thanks! Hope to see you there -Secertary Lainey "I don't have a partner." Jason murmured as he swept yet another notifacation from his group asking if he was gonna bring anyone. "I'll pay you 500 for the night- actually 1,000 if you can stage as my girlfriend for a couple hours. Can you?" He looked up with pleading in his eyes, not trying to look like he was begging.

Esme turned, reading the email and visibly cringing as he asked her. This isn't what she wanted. She just wanted a simple job. A kitchen maid, that's what she was, that's all she wanted this to be. She hesitated, "Fine," she said, deflating, "I'll go," she sighed.

"Sorry about this, I don't have anyone else to ask. It's only 2 1/2 hours." Jason handed her a stack of money. "It's half, I'll pay the other half later." He said.
