Charlotte had packed and drove back to the barns, waiting for Jaden. Suddenly, her car stopped. Full on quit. She hopped out and checked the engine. "Shit." She muttered, grace staining her hands and cheek. She slammed the hood closed as she gathered all her stuff out as Jaden pulled up. "My damn car quit." She muttered.

He drove back, seeing her. Jaden just nodded, popping the hood and checking everything before figuring out what it was. "Your battery's dead," He mused, grabbing some cables from the trunk of his car and connecting them.

"Damn truck never breaks down except when I need it." She patted the door aggressively, more hitting then patting it. She walked around to where Jaden was working. "Thank you." She muttered, trying to not bother him too much. She was probably annoying as it is.

Jaden just nodded, offering a small smile. "Of course,"

Charlotte got back in the car, thanking Jaden. She drove off, him following. She eventually arrived at the hotel, meeting with Jaden in the parking lot, holding all her stuff. "Well..." She mused, looking around. "I'll go get checked in." She stepped inside, and got her room and his. They were right next to eachother. She gave Jaden his card. "The rooms are 245 and 246."

"Thanks," He mused with a soft smile, grabbing his bag and reaching for the keycard. Jaden's fingers grazed over hers as he took it, though he made himself act as thought nothing had happened. The man reached his room, shutting the door behind him before flopping down on the bed.

Charlotte got all settled in her room, looking up places to eat. She found a 5 star bar and grill a couple minutes away. She wanted to go, but didn't want to go alone. She forwarded it to Jaden, saying Found this. If you're up for it, I suppose we could go. If you are too tired, I understand! She pressed sent and flopped down on the bed.

Jaden grabbed his phone as it dinged, sitting up and checking it. -Yeah, might as well. place looks pretty good. my car?- He sent it, slipping back into his boots and tossing a unwrinkled t-shirt on before heading next door and knocking on the door.

Sure. See you in a second. She threw on a nicer pair of jeans, ones without Loki snot, and opened her door, meeting Jaden. Togetheer they walked down, Charlotte throwing her hair back in a simple ponytail to get the loose strands out of her face. They jumped into his car, the engine turning on as Charlotte looked out the window.
