He watched as her cheeks brightened with blush coming through. He smiled wider, knowing the effect he had. "What are you doing after dinner? We could go for a ride?" He offered, looking back across the open

Cass turned back to look at him. "A ride?" She studied him. "I'd like that" She felt a wave of happiness there was nowhere she'd rather be than on the back of a horse. "How about now? Dinner isn't or another few hours yet and today is basically one of my days off" She said turning to him fully.

"Sure." He said, turning and walking with her to tack up. He pulled Splash into the cross-ties and quickly saddled her. He put the bridle on the antsy mare, calming her down. He mounted up and walked to the front of the barn to wait for Cass

Cass watched as Caleb saddled his mare. Cass fetched Salem from the pasture "Sorry buddy" She said putting him as he tossed his head as she lead him in. "Lets go have some fun shall we?" She said talking to him. She had him in the cross ties next to Caleb, she ran her hands over him before grooming him, tacking him up and cleaning out his feet. She lead him out of the barn and mounted. "Which way do you wanna go?" She eyed him, a glimmer of mischief in her eyes.

"I don't honestly know my way around, so you lead us." He said, glancing at her

Cass smirked, her green eyes twinkling at him. She ushered Salem into a canter, taking off down the hill. She looked back behind her to see if Caleb caught on.

Caleb watched as Cass asked Salem to canter, quickly following her lead and keeping stride with Salem. He laughed, pulling a bit ahead of her

Cass smirked even more, watching as Splash made ground. She squeezed her thighs into Salem, asking for more. He pinned his ears and raced ahead, his stride widening to over take Splash. Cass looked back at Caleb, laughing.

Caleb was beaming at Cass, trying to keep up with Salem and starting to go stride-for-stride beside each other. Caleb glanced over at Cass, winking at her before pulling ahead

Cass pulled up Salem as they neared a bunch of sparse trees. She laughed leaning on the horn of the saddle. "Well, I haven't had that much fun in ages" She laughed out.
