Eris followed the elven partner toward the door, limping slightly but doing her best not to show it. "I'm not weak. I can make it to whereever you have the horses." She huffed, glaring at him out of the corner of her eye. "And never call me that again, or you may find yourself missing a valuable body part." She hissed, making her way down the hall- the way She thought was toward the exit.

I'm going to assume- seeing as how she was unconscious when she came in and hasn't walked far enough to leave ..that she doesn't know where she's going) "They're called stables." Kin chided, with thinly veiled pride. A smirk tugging his lips. He could tell she felt worse, her face twitched, even slightly with every step she took on her bad leg. Which also just made him more confident she would be a bit stopped before she should do any chopping. Though the thought left a bad taste in his mouth. His eyebrow perked when she turned a different direction as they reached a T. "Ah, wrong way." He smiled dishonestly, gesturing to go the other way and pausing.

I assumed you were going to assume that)) Eris glared at her Elven partner over her shoulder like he was about 2 seconds away from getting a nose job. She turned back around quickly when she felt him watching her face, trying to school it into anything that wasn't pain. It ended up being slightly bitchy neutrality. She let out a small sigh through her nose when he addressed her, turning on her good heel to go the other way. "I wasn't thinking." She muttered, starting the other way and gritting her teeth slightly. Stupid demon with the stupid claws scratching her stupid leg.

The elf's eyes twitched between her face, the nearest wound and then to tje path in front of them. "Am I going to have to get used to that?" He questioned rather crudely. There was no sigh of true compassion, just observation. He smiled politely at an elven nurse as they slipped out of the building and he made another turn in the same direction and swept through the smaller-than-usual people traffic. He wasn't waiting for her in any way, possibly picking up the pace. Maliciously.

"Am I going to have to get used to you asking stupid questions?" Eris sneered, keeping her gaze harshly forward, her limp domineering her gait. She did, however, attempt to lose the bitchy face as they passed the nurse. She dipped her head slightly, a sign of respect, acknowledgement, in the Fae world. Not submissive, but appreciative. She picked up on what felt like the slight increase of his step speed, hobbling a little faster and gritting her teeth. She wanted to bare them at him and tell him to slow down, but that would show she really was weak- which was not an option. She swallowed down a grunt of pain as her foot landed on an uneven surface coming out onto the street, softly clearing her throat to cover it. She glanced at the minimal amount of people around, most being elves. Multiple gave her dirty looks. "They look at me like I slaughtered their children." She observed flatly. Perhaps better than She expected, but still- she had risked her life to save as many of these people as possible. It would be nice not to be looked at like vermin.

"they look at me like I kill kids" "They look at me like that too" "they do?" "no im just fucking with you") "You sure are." The elf assured without pause. Torturously, he gave no indication of slowing his pace other than making sure he didn't lose her, letting her struggle through. Luckily for her, the stable was only a short ways away. The stares at her passed onto him as well, he did not shift. He spoke loud enough she could hear him without turning his head far. "They look at me like that too." He shared, unwavering. Kin stopped to let a carriage pass, it carried many delicious looking fruits. As tempted as he was to reach out and grab one, he did not. Walking straight forward into the horse infested building. His jaw stiffened up as he opened up two stalls, with tacked horses. A bay and a grey. Resembling Aztecas. They were very well behaved. He offered with a gesture, her pick.

Eris glared at the elf through the corner of her eye, letting out a sigh through her nose. She kept hobbling along, continuing to grit her teeth against the persistent throb echoing down her leg. Of course, he wasn't slowing at all, which made everything that much better. She gave him a skeptical glance at his words, glancing around with slightly lowered brows. She still kept her chin up, even while being glared at. "Do they?" She asked coldly, pausing to let a carriage rumble past. She took in a deep breath at the pause, and then started walking again- the temporary relief had almost made it worse. She huffed softly as they came to the stalls, immediately opening the door into the grey one's. She stroked the large beast's neck, pulling herself against the stall with her arms and then pressing her good leg into the stirrup. She was quick about getting on, wincing after, but settling her other foot in the opposite stirrup as she walked the horse out and into the aisle. Not the best etiquette, to mount in the barn, but she couldnt stand for much longer.

Kin, quite insensitively, laughed quickly. "No." He said, looking both ways down the street with a crooked smile, very obviously pleased with himself as he crossed toward the barn. He did get looks like that, but not enough it mattered. Plus it was just funnier. He moved in with the bay. She was very pretty, dark, purple hues in certain light, with a snip. And she was a sweetheart. He liked her better anyway. Mostly from afar though. He checked her saddle again, just to be sure, adjusting the saddlebags and the pack over her hips which was essentially a spare change of clothes and a few other light things. And then lead her out, lightly holding the reins at the point furthest from her head. He eyed up at the fae, making no comment, just very slight confusion, he didn't think it was disrespectful it was just out of place Outside, he hoisted himself onto the saddle, shifting uncomfortably. An awkward looking position. It was correct, he was just bad at it.

Eris was utterly unamused at the antic, rolling her eyes at him. "Are you always childish like this?" She drawled boredly, not bothering to look at him. The Fae took a few moments to get settled, looking perhaps more Regal than before when on a horse. She settled into the saddle like it was natural, picking up her reins and moving onward and out of the barn, pausing at his side. She let out a sigh, rolling her shoulders and grimacing. The scratches on her shoulder were still more than a little tender under the bandage beneath her shirt, and movement was not... comfortable. Sitting on her gelding, however, was much better than walking herself. She trailed her thumb gently down the crest of his mane, pausing toward the saddle to give him the tiniest of scritches. The gelding gave a small snort and stretched his neck out with the movement, then lifted it and shook his head. She glanced over at her companion, smirking. He looked as uncomfortable on his horse as she had been on the ground. "You know, I never used be all that excited about riding either." (("Really?" "No, kiss my ass you lil bitch" *rides off in the wrong direction*))
