There was something about Sage's replies towards her father that almsot scared her. She had seen the usual sarcasm and cheek from other people before, but never to that extent. Ella watched as her father simply just chuckled in reply to Sage's comments before making his way up and back inside, leaving her to drag the boy to the nurse. She did so, albeit very slowly. As soon as the light hit her eyes she winced, the headache that had been forming a lot stronger now, given the fact the sky was so bright even though it was still drizzling a little. She didn't have a tight grip on Sage's arm at all, in fact she might as well have taken her hand away. During the walk around the building towards the nurse she hardly spoke, only piping up when she saw the two nurses inside. "My fathers not aiming to kill anyone else in your griup you know." She mumbled, before handing him to the nurse, stepping back and standung againdt the wall.

Sage pressed his lips together as he carefully watched the older man's reaction to his comment, brows furrowing slightly. Something was definitely on the man's mind....and he'd hit close to home, he figured, since the man had avoided a response. Of course, the girl was dragging him along, so once they were out of the house, he focused on just looking around the camp and trying to figure out the lay of things. Well actually, at first he had to shut his eyes, as he was quite used to the dark of the building by then, and the sun hurt. He glanced over at the girl when she spoke up, though, and grunted. "Why else would he need to know our location and information," he noted, closing his mouth again once the got to the nurses. The old lady who grabbed him poked around for a moment before forcefully sitting him down on a bed and beginning to work on him.

Ella rubbed her arm anxiously as Sage entered the nurses tent, leaning against the wall just outside, pulling her top down best she could so one of them didnt drag her in to stitch up her wound. For someone that had no problem carving into someone, she was rather afriad of anything..medical. She peered into the tent as Sahe spoke, moving to stand on the side. "Uh," She started, not really too sure on how to answer his question. She wasnt enitrely sure, but she knew her father wasnt planning on killing anyone else. Unless they attacked him first. "I don't know." She said, sighing as her words faltered. "It's more a cautionary thing than anything else. I dunno why he needs the information but I know he's not planning on committing anymore murders. If you had just complied with him and whatever his demands were you'd be taken straight back." She said, watching as the nurse rasied her eyebrows, most liekly at Ella saying her father..wouldnt commit more mass murder. That wasnt helping.

She eyed the rather large needle about to be used to stitch up the sound on Sage's chest, looking away as subtly as she could. As she did she caught sight of her father rushing back away from the gate indoors, narrowing her eyes slowly. He seemed rather distressed. Any other hostages that he needed information off of, he would be all over them until they fessed. It seemed as if he had forgotten about Sage.

As the nurses finished up with him she turned back, standing herself up from leaning against the wall. "I.." Her voice trailed off as she looked back behind her, almost as a cautionary thing, shaking off the bad feeling and looking back. "Never mind. Come." She said, her tone less demanding than she would have liked.

Sage had snorted in response to the girls comments about her father. "You do realize I can't trust anything you say right," he pointed out, then allowed the nurse to shove him into the bed and patch him up. He clearly wasn't happy to be there, and shifted around as he sat despite trying to stay still as she stitched his chest up. She eyed the wound on his wrist from the chain, and grabbed it, causing him to let out a hiss of pain. She then told him to shush and sit still, grabbing a bottle of anti bacterial something or other, dumping it on his wrist. It stung like mad, but her grip was like steel and he couldn't jerk it away no matter how hard he tried to. Eventually though, she wiped it off again after letting it sit for a while, putting some goopy stuff on it and wrapping it up snugly. It did feel better...all of it...though the numbing shot she'd stuck in his chest also probably helped with the overall pain.

She drug him back over to the girl. Ella? Was that her name? He wasn't sure why he even cared enough to ask himself that question. Though, he raised an eyebrow when she started to talk and then stopped, following her gaze to her father, who seemed even more agitated than before. He felt his brows pinch together slightly, watching the man storm around. "I take it he's not normally like that," he murmured, not really a question. "What the hell is going on," he wondered out loud, looking around as a few guards went running for the tent her father had disappeared into moments before. Of course, he followed the girl as she led him back towards the building he'd been in, though slower, as he had just gotten used to the sun, and was really not looking forward to going back into a cell.

Although Sage made a good point, Ella would still find a way to be irritated by his comments, not agree. She in fact did not plan on agreeing with anything he said regardless of how much he made sense. "That is one hundred percent not my problem, at least I know its the truth" she shrugged, feeling the sun flood back over her as she fully steped away from the shadows of the tent. It was the afternoon, and getting rather hot, though the far sky indicating the opposite of a heatwave. As they made their way back to the building Ella frowned, turning her head to glance at him. "Yeha no he always does that, rushing around aimlessley with his guards following. Dumbass" She mumbled, her tone snappy. She hadnt exactly tried to snap, but everything seemed to just be irriating her. As they made their way back down into the building and Ella had shut the door to, she turned away from Sage, glaring at him as she turned around. "I'll be back" She mumbled, darting off upstairs to get him food. It was the same boring food and glass of water but she quite frankly could not care less. Once she had collected it, she made her way down to him, planted the food and drink on the floor and simply left, not speaking another word.

Sage had scowled in response to the girls comment, giving her a vicious look. "Well hea doing something," he snorted. "If I were you I'd be figuring out what the hell is wrong," he snapped back, though by then she'd shoved him back down into the cell, which had heated up....a lot, since they'd left it that morning. He was glad she'd left right away, as he had to lean against the wall and catch his breath, getting used to the air and letting his body readjust, since it was rather beat up by then. Everything still hurts like hell, and he was starving. And thirsty....though he still couldn't bring himself to eat the stuff they gave him. If he did, he threw it up. Which was definitely annoying. So, when she dropped the food and water down and then left, he moved to scoop up the water and drink it, but shove the plate full of... whatever was on it...to the side and wandered over to the corner, settling there nervously. God, he was tired. He just wanted to go home. Talk to someone who wasn't a jerk to him.
