Their meals arrived and they finished it quite quickly. They were all quite hungry. Now that they were full, they could go shopping. Holding Mia in her arms, Audrey and the crew paid and walked out of the dinner. They then walked over to the stalls. Audrey laughed as Luna commented about last time they were here Audrey nearly tripped and ran into a basket of apples. Audrey remembered that clearly. She was grateful she didn't fall though.

Al dunked under the water again, wetting his skin. Al pushed back up again and saw the elf he had attacked yesterday, he gasped at first and then it turned into a growl, he dove into the water and flowed with the water, watching her carefully from under the film of water Edited at May 7, 2024 03:57 PM by Ponies heaven

Audrey felt a glare at her back, she turned but no one was there, weird. She turned back to her friends and continued to converse, still feeling like she was being watched somehow.

Al ducked deeper underwater as she turned to look at him, bubbles spluttered out of his gills as he growled. He slowly followed her along again, his face a arms length under water. Al swam forward again and something flashed in the corner of his eye, a net. Al tried to swim toward only for his path to be blocked once again, he howled in anger as the net started to pull upwards, revealing the angry Merman. Al Roared at the fisherman that pulled him up and tried to claw at the net with his webbed hands. He tried to move, but his tail was no use out of water and ended up flopping around in the net like a fish out of water. The Fisherman stared at him in stunned shock, then it later turned into a cruel grin. Others started to gather around the net. Al tried clawing at the net again, but didn't succeed.

Audrey turned around as she heard commotion. Confused on what was going on, she looked around. She noticed that a group had gathered around something. Stepping away from her friends, she walked over. She didn't need to get that close to spot a familiar figure, the merman who she saw before. She took a quick scan, making sure no one was watching and shot a discreet bolt of magic, causing the net to break and fall back into the sea. Her deadly accuracy came in handy. She would get revenge herself, she refused to let him die unless she could do it herself. She then quickly turned and walked back towards her friends. "What happened?" Luna asked, "where'd you go?" Audrey chuckled, "saved a helpless creature" she replied. It wasn't technically a lie, said creature was helpless. Why did she save him? Because she wanted to extract revenge herself... no other reason... right?

Al trashed again, the net tight. He looked around and saw the elf he was following, she approached him and raised her hand. Al turned his head, preparing for impact of the blast, sure it would kill him. Al felt the water rush up to him, wrapping him safely back into her liquid arms. Al looked at the elf from under the water, he gave her a toothy smile before turning and swimming back through Tova, back to safety.

Audrey and her friends continued on their shopping spree. Audrey couldn't help but keep going back to the merman's smiling face. Why was that image stuck in her mind? She tried to ignore it, walking back towards the castle with her friends and sister.

Al raced back through Tova and into Eliva, it took longer this time around because the rifts were swirling against him. He rushed into the Burning Debris Bar and clutched at Gill, who was smiling at a lady. Gill turned to him and saw his wide eyes. Gill waved at the lady, and followed Al out of the bar. The two merman Raced towards their special cove, once they arrived Gill reached forward to stop Al, grabbing at his wrist. "Alright, your gonna tell me what's going on, now" Gill said, bubbles spraying from his gills. Al rolled his shoulder and told him about the elf he saw and battled yesterday before dragging onto the encounter today. Gill rubbed his head and released his wrist, "alright, so, not only did one elf see you, but a whole town" Gill grabbed Als head, his hands on each side of his face. "And are you sure they don't know your the heir?" He said, pressing his forehead against Als, he was much like a brother to Al then anyone he had ever known "I am sure" Al said, grasping Gills shoulder.

Audrey returned home, exhausted. She grasped around her neck, her hand not finding anything. She lost her necklace, a precious heirloom passed down from her mother. She would be so mad if she found out she lost it. Little did she know, it had been swept away into the ocean. The necklace had a protective spell on it, such that only one of her blood could wear it. Others could pick it up, sure, but no wear the heirloom. She paniced, begining to search around her room. She had to find it before her mother found out she lost it.

Gill looked at Al, pulling away, his gaze washed all over him, catching on the seaweed bandage. "The elf did that?" He asked, his tone was white washed and quiet. Al nodded, Gill only used to take care of him like this after his father used to beat him. Gill looked at Al, in the eyes. "Your owe that elf Al, but don't forget, they killed your little brother" he said, Gill shook his head. "You can't go near them again, no matter how curious you are"
