Del glared at him. "Oh? I remember asking what you do for fun, and one of your answers was to kill people. Please, excuse my misunderstanding." She hissed, her eyes narrowing at him as he continued. She scowled at him as he finished, taking in a quiet breath and observing him. "If you're an assasin, why am I here, alive? Do you plan to kill me?" She asked coarsely, blunt in the face of such a threat. This time, she ignored the bird slamming into the window again.

"So what? You're my babysitter?" Del scoffed, rolling her eyes and stretching out. "I don't buy that for a second." She huffed, curling her knees to her chest and glaring out the window. "This is such a waste of time." She sighed, rubbing her eyes. "I had a date tonight. Now, he's gonna think I up and ghosted him. So, thanks for the timing." She snapped, a growl-groan of frustration forming in her throat as she set her head in her hands.

Del watched him bitterly as he walked off and called who she presumed was his boss. The faint sound of laughter was a little chilling. She watched him in slight concern as he came closer, tentatively taking the phone. "Dad?" She asked carefully, tossing Aku a skeptical look.

Nothing. Her words were met with silent and she threw a pissed off look at Aku, scowling again. "Hello? Anyone?" There was a distinct click to end the call. "Obviously my crazy ass father doesn't want to talk to me. I'm just as confused." She spat, tossing the phone at him.

Del sighed and rubbed the heels of her hands gently against her eyes. She glanced up only when he came back into the room, tilting her head at the drawing in his hands. "Didn't take you for an artist." She scoffed, laying back to glare at the ceiling, tugging angrily at his oversized clothes.
