Kyle was shocked by this. Why would he turn down his mate that he has been looking for for so long? He let out a sigh and gently turned Tucker's face back towards him by cupping his cheek with his hand. "Why would I ever turn down such a beautiful mate like you," Kyle asks, "I don't care if you are or are not weak or if you are or are not an omega. I love you for whatever you are and I accept you as my mate." For once Kyle's steel grey eyes showed softness and kindness as he says these words and his stern voice shows real sympathy. "Now, what do you say," he asks the omega, "do you accept me to be your mate?"

Tucker was stunned, Kyle didn't want to reject him? Didn't want a different mate? He wanted him? Kyle was an alpha, and Tucker was an omega; Tucker didn't have much to offer, if anything at all. "I'll never be worth your love. I can't give you much" he says quietly. He looked into Kyle's eyes. He saw the sincerity in his eyes and heard it in his voice, but he couldn't allow him to take a mate like him. "You deserve better" he whispered softly. He didn't answer the last question though, because he was conflicted. He was divided between the love he now realized he felt and the fact that he barely anything to give.

Kyle was very worried as Tucker spoke. He didn't seem to want to accept them as being mates. "Tucker," Kyle says in a calmer voice, though his sternness was trying to come back through, "I don't care if you don't give me as much love as I give you. I don't care if you don't give me gifts for certain holidays even if I give you some. Heck. I don't even care if I "deserve better." I want you and only you to be may mate." He looked directly into Tucker's eyes as he says this and hopes that Tucker would change his mind.

Tucker was unsure of how to respond. He did love Kyle, but didn't want to take from him. He knew that with his status, he'd have everything he'd ever want. He did truly love him, with his whole heart. But he'd put Kyle before himself, and he thought that this would be best for him. "I-I'll think about it" he replied after a moment. He could bear to reject him, but also didn't want to accept him; it was better this way. He then got up to leave, but his wolf wouldn't let him. His wolf fought with him inside his head, preventing Tucker from leaving.

Kyle waited as patiently as he could for Tucker's answer. His wolf was basically pacing back and forth inside of him. The creature wanted to be free but Kyle wasn't sure if it would do any good for it to be free. He snapped out of his thoughts as Tucker answered and stood to leave. The alpha would have reached up to stop the omega from leaving but it seemed he didn't have to. He still stood up though and walks over to Tucker. "Maybe we should let our other halves decide," he suggests, "it is our wolves that have been causing us both trouble since we have met, haven't they? They've been fighting for control to meet one another so maybe we should allow them to. What do you say Tucker?"

Tucker looks hesitant hearing Kyle's suggestion. His wolf hasn't been let out in a long time. He was also struggling to maintain control. He then nods. "Okay" he agrees, hoping he wouldn't regret this decision. He relaxed, allowing his wolf to come to the front. The shift was seamless; from where Tucker was once standing, his wolf now took his place. The wolf shook his dark pelt, yawning. He was glad to have been let out, he was antsy from being cooped up so long. He shook his head, looking up at Kyle as if waiting for him to let his wolf out too.

Kyle smiled as Tucker accepted his idea of shifting into their wolf forms. Once the omega had switched Kyle easily let his wolf take form. The large canine shook his pelt once the shift was finished before turning its attention to the smaller wolf. The canine then approached the almost identical black furred canine and began to eagerly sniff them, taking in their scent happily. It had been a little while since he had met a new wolf and the canine was very excited to be meeting this wolf specifically.

Tucker's wolf was quite small compared to Kyle's massive wolf. He sniffed the larger wolf in return. Having been cooped up caused him to get bored and nap most of the time. He was excited to meet new wolves, especially one that was his mate. Tucker's wolf was quite small, and slightly intimidated by the size of Kyle's wolf compared to his own. His tail wagged gently, and he offered his neck in a sign of submission.

The large wolf was careful as he sniffed around the smaller wolf, careful to not scare him. After a while its tail began to wag happily as the other's wolf showed his neck as submission. The large wolf approached and gave the smaller a lick on the cheek and began to rub his scent all over his mate. The larger male showed signs of excitement as he rubbed his scent on the other but also had some other intentions, but was careful to not go on with them unless the smaller omega was ready for them too. It was almost like he was messing with a small, glass item, as the smaller wolf was rather fragile to him.

The smaller wolf wagged his tail happily, allowing the other to claim him with his scent. He nuzzled into the larger wolf's side, giving a bark. He pressed his head into his chest, inhaling deeply. He then leaned up and touched his nose with his. Stepping back, he pranced around the larger wolf before bowing into a playful stance. He wanted the larger wolf to chase him. He waited, unsure if the other wanted to play.
