"Stop insulting me." He muttered, disappearing into the bush with Raptor. Believe it or not, Tyler had a terrible temper. The only reason he hadn't totally LOST it with Regan was he practiced NOT losing it for the last 15 years. He grit his teeth, clenching his jaw and looking for an animal. He soon saw a big buck. It heard him, and started darting away. Tyler ran after it, signaling Raptor. The giant dog jumped, biting the deers back leg. It faltered, falling and Tyler cut its throats with his Death Star. He and Raptor dragged it back to the campsite. ,Food,. He growled to Regan, going over and sitting behind the bush so she couldn't see him

The girl just stuck her tongue out at him before shaking her head. She needed to be a bit nicer to him, she really did. She needed to at least needed to try. She'd had so much pent-up inside, that really, throwing jabs out at him seemed easier. Probably didn't help that she hadn't had any actual human contact in well... months. She looked over at him when he reappeared, looking at the dead deer curiously. It wasn't infected... she could see that, and she took it he wasn't the type to try and poison her. "Are you not going to cook it?" she called through the bush.

"You cook it. Cooking doesn't involve moving." Tyler snarled, moving a little farther away. If Regan didn't want to be nice, he was going to do the very minimum to keep her alive

The girl groaned a little bit before flopping back down on the ground. "You're such a bore!" She called after him before resting a hand on her side as she forced herself up towards the deer... she should probably cook something for him too. Well, he'd caught it... so she'd live with trying to give him some food. She crawled over to the fire after cutting it up, and sat next to the fire, slowly cooking the venison. She found a few plates and placed a cut of each one on it. "Get over here if you want to eat," she called after him after a moment or so.

Tyler glanced over with surprise. He didn't actually think she would cook it. He stood, walking over and looking at the food. He scratched his chin, surprised to feel a small beard had gathered there. He muttered something under his breath like, "I'm going to look like a caveman after this is done. I'm glad I'm young enough I can't grow a big beard, or I'd look like Santa Claus!" He then took a plate from her, dipping his head in thanks. He ate the venison quickly, it being his favorite food.

Regan sighed at his slightly look or surprise. What, she was hungry, did he expect her to starve? Well, to be honest, that was probably exactly what he was hoping would happen. She was half way there anyway. The girl stifled a slight laugh at his next comment before shaking her head. "This isn't going to end," she told him after a few moments, a rather somber look on her face. "You'll end up looking like Santa sooner or later anyway," she chuckled softly before starting to eat the slab of meat... it did feel good to have some food in her stomach for once. She noticed the stubble on his chin, and cocked her head ever so slightly. "How old are you, exactly?" She asked curiously. He said he'd been in school a few months before the pandemic, so surely he was about her age.

"I will not!!" He exclaimed. "I'm trying to figure out how to shave with a knife, for one. For two, I'm not old enough to grow a big beard. It will only get a couple inches long, then stop." Tyler chuckled slightly, imagining himself with a giant white beard. "Plus my beard is black... and to answer your last question.. I-" he paused, thinking. "I don't know exactly what month it is, but I'll be turning 19 soon." He answered, cocking his head slightly Edited at April 1, 2023 07:23 PM by Wild Warmbloods

The girl cocked her head at his first comment, a small chuckle escaping her. "You what?" She asked with a bit of a laugh. She looked him over for a moment before shrugging. It wouldn't be difficult to shave with a sharp knife, she didn't think. "You need to sharpen a knife up... and make sure it's clean. You don't want any infected cuts or anything now," she then added lightly. She hummed before pouting. "No, you're gonna look like Santa," she mused before shaking her head. "When you're old, maybe. Or when this whole thing ends. Whichever comes first," she then added with a bit of a chuckle. She looked thoughtful for a moment. "It's June," she eventually noted. "I thought you were smart, you should be tracking the months!" She told him with a bit of an amused laugh.
