Sage was shocked to see the child come in, and gave Cassandra a questioning look, confused as to how she was both a mother and a knight. He was even more surprised when the girl said she should marry him, and then even more surprised when she asked if he was alright. "I'm ok kiddo," he hummed lightly. The little one should think everything was fine....all of this wasn't for a child to be burdened with.

The girl said " mommy why is he in a cage he not a dog " Cassandra said " well there is law you have to follow you can't disobey it or you even up be hid bars " the girl said " oh did you kill someone mister" as the babysitter came in and said " I am so sorry " and picks her up Cassandra said " is okay time for bed little one " girl name Annie with her mom hair color and eyes Annie said " good night mommy and good night sir " before the babysitter took her away Cassandra sighed and said " I'll stay until I know everyone is a sleep then ill leave you be to get your rest as well"

Sage winced slightly when the girl called his cell a cage ....she wasn't wrong, but it still made it seem like he actually was a dog. He'd quite honestly started to believe it, too. He gave the babysitter a tired smile and before he knew it, the kid was gone. "She seemed sweet," he hummed to the girl...Cassandra? Was that her name? He thought so. "She's yours, I assume?" He glanced at the door, wishing he could have a family like that back again. "How old is she?" It was probably clear he liked the girl...she was sweet, and he'd always had a soft spot for the little ones.

Cassandra said " yeah she mine she is just 5 years old and has a very great personality and she acts like me sometimes" before sitting down and said " i can't keep it up with childcare so i paid a babysitter for a while until i can go home and be with her but i am not always there " as she sighed and hope they make it home safe she doesn't know what to do if the father finds her

Sage nodded and shrugged. "Well, she seems fun to be around," he hummed and then sighed a moment after. He was really tired....though, he didn't think he'd be able to sleep at all anyway. And he really didn't want her to leave, which was both unfair to her and wrong, but he was just so sick of all this, and he desperately wanted out, but he didn't think he could win a fight against her. Not that he wanted to fight her, or hurt her. Which was a scary thought....that he might care.

Cassandra said" okay i am surely going to hate myself for this back your coming home with me i don't trust leader coming back here i don't want you to get hurt anymore" as undoes her trap and unlocks it before saying " i know you don't want to but i bet you be a lot safer at my place then this place " before looking back at the door and grabs her stuff and walks then turns and looks at him and said " you want to come or you going to stay there i don't do what you feel safe "

Sage blanched, trying to figure out why the girl would joke about bringing him home with her, but then she opened the door and walked away. He stared at her, gawking for a moment before scrambling to his feet and heading to the door, but heasitanting right before stepping out of the cell. "Are...are you sure?" He stammered. "you could get in trouble...and I've been in here for...a while..." He trailed off, the girl stubborn, and with a slight gulp he stepped out of the cage and followed her out.

Cassandra smiles and said " stop worrying that i get into trouble i don't really care about that " as she waits for him before walking on and said " everyone when to bed anyhow so i think you are going to be okay to come with me " as she smiles before sighing and walks towards her house glad he was coming she didn't want him to be scared of not sleeping at all cassandra said " did i see my name to you i might forgot to "

Sage followed her, admittedly rather nervously. He was excited about the prospect of having a good night's sleep, in a real bed and with warm blankets where it wasn't damp and musty and he wouldn't freeze at night. "You told me you name," he confirmed. "Can I call you Cass?" He was still nervous, but not of her...it just felt odd to be out of the cell. And they could both get into a lot of trouble for this. Although, he was still under her care so....they weren't doing much wrong maybe?

Cassandra said " yeah you can call my Cassandra " as she smiles at him before making it to her house and unlocks unlocks it before walking inside and leaves the door open for sage then Annie came running saying " mommy mommy " Cassandra said " you still up can't sleep " Annie nods and said " i had nightmare " Cassandra said " Don't worry I'll keep you safe from those nightmare " Annie looks at sage and said " can I show him where he is going to sleep "
