Sage could feel his face heating up even more as the girl came closer and then more as she smiled at him. Why did she look so cute when she did that? He gave the girl a sheepish grin and chuckled slightly. "You were there. And its more interesting than furniture." Then he grunted and nodded. "They're not extremely cozy, but if I change now I'll just have to get back in them in like half an hour so there no point to it."

Claudia smiled and then nodded, "Well you have some skill with the pencil. At least more than I do." she laughed. "I think I may head down for in a bit." she looked at the door and then back at Sage. Claudia blushed when she looked at him, his eyes..."Sage...um, would you maybe like to get dinner tonight? I know a place, my parents always got food there, it was pretty decent. Not far away either." Claudia tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and looked away. Waiting for an answer she blushed, what..why had she just asked that?

Sage could feel his face heating up again when the girl met his eyes, and he blinked slowly, mind racing for a moment. Then he blinked and shrugged, grin growing on his face. "Why not," he chirped. Had the girl just asked him out? On a date? Or was it just a friendly offer for dinner? He wasn't sure, but either way he was more than happy to join the girl. Then he glanced at the clock and sighed, putting the pencil down and standing up. "I've got to get going," he groaned. "If you want to come down for breakfast it'll be fine...most people don't come by until later in the day."

Claudia was happy he had accepted her offer...but she didn't know exactly what it would mean for them. Was it a date? Or...something else? She was confused but happy at the exact same time. "Great, I may be going down in a bit. I have to get ready at least." Claudia chuckled and rubbed the back of her neck. She was glad they were getting to know each other, Sage was fun to be around, and she liked him...maybe more than like? Claudia had a lot of feelings happening at the same time, she didn't know what to do with them all. She figured they would explain themselves sometime...hopefully.

Sage chuckled and nodded before standing up and walking over to the door. He was almost out of the room before he glanced back at Claudia and gave her a small (and somewhat shy) smile. "And Claudia? Thanks," he hummed, a deep blush flushing across his cheeks before he practically sprinted out of the room and down to the kitchen. Man, why was his heart so jumpy? He hoped things would work themselves out...what he really thought about the girl, and what she though about him. She was nice, and really pretty, and he did want to get to know her better. But was that love? He really wasn't sure, but he hoped to find out. He was distracted from his thoughts when the bel above the tavern door rang, and he hustled out to take the first order of the day.

Claudia smiled and felt her cheeks hotten as Sage went down the stairs. She was in the clouds when she got changed, she didn't really pay attention to what she put on. When Claudia looked at herself in the mirror she chuckled. Why was wearing a dress in the very morning so funny to her, it was a pretty one though. It was pale yellow with long sleeves, and the dress itself almost dragged on the ground. Claudia decided to keep her hair down as she calmly walked out of her room. She spotted Sage taking orders down below and chuckled, she looked around the room, but something stopped her though. There was...a man watching her, it was very um...creepy? But there was something about him she recognized...who was he? Claudia walked down the stair, only sometimes glancing at the man, he kept his eyes on her.

Sage hadn't seen Claudia come down the stairs at first, but after he went to the kitchen to deliver order and looked around the room he saw her looking for a table. He wandered over to her, a grin forming on his face. "You want anything for breakfast or just a water again," he asked the girl, a happy butterfly feeling welling up inside him at the thought of talking to the girl. That was new. It was definitely odd....but not bad, he didn't think. It certainly didn't feel bad. But either way, things were still rather slow, so he was fine to talk for a minute.

"Could I get water and something to eat?" Claudia gave a smirk as Sage walked over, "Anything would be fine really, just something edible.". Claudia laughed, she could talk easily with Sage, jus talk...about stuff. They seemed to have a pretty good amount of stuff in common, first off they both had families that didn't really...click with them. Claudia sat down at an empty table and then looked around the room, trying to find where that mystery guy was...ah. Her eyes landed on him, he was talking to a waitress, he noticed her looking and glared right back at her. What the hell? Who was he?! What did he want?

Sage chuckled and nodded, scribbling down something on the pad of paper he had before going over to get the order of a customer that had just come in. After that he went to the kitchen to get the food ready. It was done rather quickly, since the cook wasn't super busy, and he set the plates down at the other table before handing Claudia her meal and sliding into a chair next to her. There was no one else that needed help with anything or who wasn't eating, so he had a few minutes to sit down and talk if she wanted to. He'd given her something rather simple...just some eggs with some peppers and a few other things mixed in. But he rather liked it, even if he couldn't eat very much, since it cost money he just couldn't spare.

"Thank you, this looks lovely Sage." Claudia smiled at the boy and started eating. After a few bites, she smiled again, "This is very good, thank you.". Claudia looked Sage in the eyes, not really noticing she was doing so, once she did though it had been a while already, her cheeks flushed a deep pink and she turned her head, embarrassed. Claudia cleared her throat, "So, do you have any regular customers that come here often?" she took a few more bites, trying to look at Sage too much, it was kind of hard to not do so though. To her he was handsome...very. She was sure she would be blushing again if she caught his eyes.
