Mari smiled softly before shrugging gently. "Alright," she murmured quiely to him. She was more than happy to go and sit down... this was, what, the third time she'd had a birthday like this? She was pregnant with Silas first, the. She was healing from giving birth the second time, and now she was pregnant again... she'd had one normal birthday since then, in between the healing and now. She waddled out with him, kind of collapsing into the outside couch with a soft sigh, her hand gently on her stomach. "This is all beautiful, Sage, thank you," she murmured gently.

Sage smiled and nodded, taking her hand and wandering outside and leading her over to the couch on the front porch. He made sure she was settled and made sure the gate was closed and then set Silas down to explore, which the little boy did eagerly. He plopped down next to Mari and smiled at her comment, wrapping an arm around her. "I'm glad you like it all," he mused happily. "To be honest I had a lot of fun decorating everything," he giggled. "surprising you with it was just the cherry on the top," he laughed softly.

Mari couldn't help her happy little smile when the boy started to explore about... the baby was already growing up so damn quickly. He'd started babling little words recently, the first one being, of course, dada. It was sweet, and she supposed that made sense considering she wasn't really all... there in his first few months. Oh, she'd literally just turned him away. She still felt awful for it. She leaned into Sage with a happy looking smile. "I can tell you did," she chuckled softly. "I'm glad you did. God, Sage it's all gorgeous," she hummed happily.

Sage was more than happy to curl up with Mari and watch Silas crawl around and explore their new home. He hummed happily at Maris comment and felt a wide grin stretch across his face. "Good," he hummed happily, sort of resting his head on her shoulder lightly. The house definitely looked nice....and much more expensive than what they'd paid for it. Everything had been touched up, and the art made it look professional. Much more professional than they ever could have bought. It was definitely nice to have something this nice all to themselves. And they'd finished it together too, which was, of course, wonderful.

Mari smiled at his happy hum. Good, she wanted him to be happy. She wanted him to enjoy everything he possibly could. She rested her hand on her bump with a small hum. "I think bump is gonna love it all too," she chirped softly. These children would never know the pain and scare that they had to. They would never now how hard their lives had been, and she didn't want them to even imagine that hard life. They'd live like this... with a nice house, loving parents and in the safest spot they could find for miles. They'd have everything any child could imagine, and she'd make sure of it.

Sage chuckled lightly at Maris comment and grinned over at her, reaching over to pat her belly playfully. "hello, bump," he giggled. "I hope they like it as much as we do," he mused. By then, Silas was back by his parents, and was tugging at his pants legs, babbling "dada," as a way to be picked up. He grinned down at the boy and scooped him up, letting him stand on his lap while he helped balance the little boy. "You're gonna have a playmate soon, bud, are you excited," he cooed, which made the boy grin and babble out a string of happy giggles and words and partial word noises. Sage chuckled lightly and pressed a kiss to the boys head, resulting in another commotion from the baby.

Mari smiled softly to him after a moment or two. "Baby bump,"

she chuckled gently to him. "It's gonna need a name hun," she chuckled lightly to him. "It can't be called bump forever," she then added lightly when he patted her stomach, shaking her head a little bit as she went to hold his hand to her stomach. You could feel small kicks from the child every now and then... they weren't particularly noticeable, because they'd only really just started happening, but they were there all the same. She moved to peck his lip. "I'm sure Silas is more than happy to be big brother. And oh, he's gonna be the best at it!"

Sage chuckled slightly and hummed lightly. "well, I still say if it's a girl I'd like to name her Lizzie," he mused. "but I'm not sure about a name if it's another boy," he admitted. "maybe after your dad...or another name you like," he thought out loud. He smiled softly when she went to hold his hand on her belly, and hummed happily when she kissed him. "I think they'll be Wonderful together," he chirped. "Silas is a great kid...and they'll be so close in age," he added happily. "there's no better friend than a brother or sister," he hummed happily, thinking of Lizzie and Xander and yes, even Anthony...they'd gotten along much better. "speaking of family...your mom wanted to come see the house and whatnot, didn't she," he asked. "We could have her over for dinner tonight or tomorrow if you'd like," he hummed. Having her family over for dinner on her birthday may be nice, unless she just wanted it to be the two or three of them. Well, four he supposed, but the fourth was inside her so it didn't really count.

Mari shook her head after a moment or two. "Lizzie is still good," she chuckled lightly. She knew how much Liz meant to him, and it made sense for him to want to make a baby after her. "But I could never name anyone after my father. There is only ever going to be one of him," she chirped softly to him. She shrugged to him when he said her mother had wanted to come over, then chuckled lightly. "Oh, I know. I have two brothers, and I love them as much as they annoy me," she chuckled lightly to him. "I'm sure they can come over today at some point... but I'm not going to her them," she chuckled lightly. "I don't think I have the energy to walk over there," she mused lightly.

Sage hummed lightly and then nodded in understanding when she said she wasn't sure she wanted to name their child after her father. That made sense....his case and Lizzie's case we're a bit different he supposed. Lizzie had died so young. He chuckled lightly and nodded happily when she said he'd family could come over. Well ....their family, now, he supposed. "I can send someone with a letter, or message" he suggested. "Or I could ride over quick ...it's not far away at all," he pointed out with a shrug. He didn't mind going to fetch her mother or brothers....if she wanted them here then he'd get them here. It would only take him around fifteen minutes or so...chaos was a fast horse, so maybe less than that. She could rest in the porch while she waited just fine.
