Kylie happily watched, curled up with him.

The two watched them for a few hours, Max eventually getting called into work and having to leave.

Kylie ate with her parents that night, and got ready for bed, getting into bed alone.

Max was at work until early in the morning, deciding to stay.
| |
| |
That night, she couldn't sleep. She spooked at the slightest sound. She was terrified of being alone in the dark, at night, now because of her assaulter. The next morning she got up, hadn't slept a wink.

Max dragged himself through the front door at around 9am the next day, heading straight for Kylie's room and flopping down, drifting off immediately.
| |
| |
Kylie watched as he passed her, completely ignoring her. She sighed sadly, going to make a cup of coffee, a little later, Jenna and Ali picked her up to go to the mall, Kylie was gone for the rest of the day.

Max hadn't really mean to ignore anyone, he was just overly exhausted having not slept for a day and having to put with coworkers who pushed him to his limit everyday. He slept until about four, seeing Kylie gone and shooting a quick text. -hey where are you?-

| |
-Mall- she sent back dully.
| |

-k, have fun- He sent back, sitting up and deciding now was a good time to catch up on homework from his class.
