After getting everything cut, she went to go cook it. Elara coaxed a fire to life, cooking a serving big enough for all of them over it. The smell of deliciousness filled the air with an aroma of seasonings and such. The woman waited until said meat was done cooking, it achieving a brown outside and a red inside. She pulled it off the flames, heading back in to make servings out of it. She plated a serving for Sage and a significantly smaller one for Liz, handing both off silently before making her own.

Sage had kept himself busy as well, finding odd chores to do around the cabin and such. He just needed to keep his mind busy. When dinner was done though, he figured he did need to stop and eat something, so he moved to settle Liz down at their table, then sat down and waited for elara to join them. Once she sat as well, he started to eat.

Elara sat down and started eating, curious as to what Sage had been doing. "What've you been doing all day?" She asked, casting her warm gaze over to him before seeing Varys seated beside her. The woman gave the wolf a small piece of the meat, glancing back up at Sage as she ate another bite.

Sage chuckled softly at her question, lifting his shoulders in a sort of shrug. "Whatever I saw that needed to get done," he mused. "A lot of cleaning and stuff." It wasn't anything super important but whatever. He felt a bit better now.

"Same here, it was rather boring after a while of watching Liz and Varys. The two just do the same things over and over again, it's amusing, really. She messes with him, he doesn't mind at all. Just sits still and stares at me like its my fault." She mused with a chuckled, glancing over at the girl who had thrown a sliver of meat at the wolf, the piece landing between his ears.

Sage chuckled when she mentioned Liz and the wolf, nodding along. "Ah, well she does it to me too," he mused, throwing a sympathetic look at varys.

Elara chuckled at Sage's comment, flashing a small smile before returning back to eating. Varys sneezed and then trotted off, Liz reaching out for him as he did so before shoving a handful of meat in her mouth.

Sage nibbled at his own portion, but was admittedly not super hungry. He just felt....tired. There wasn't really a good reason for it, which worried him a little bit, but he sighed after a moment or so, standing up and brushing off his pants. "Think I'll retire early tonight," he murmured, moving to scoop Liz up now that she'd finished eating.

"Okay, rest well." She murmured, finishing eating before heading to go clean everything and put it all up. Elara wondered as she scrubbed the plates, why couldn't she bring herself to talk to Sage? It was no doubt she wanted to be more than.... whatever they were right now. Sometimes they were friends, othertimes they barely tolerated eachother at most. She sighed, stacking all the plates before heading to go to bed herself.

Sage settled Liz down and them plopped down into his normal chair tiredly, letting out a sort of breath as his eyes closed. He passed out almost immediately, though it wasn't long after he fell asleep he started to develop a fever and grew cold, so he moved to grab a few blankets and then try to curl up in the chair, rather annoyed he seemed to be getting sick.
