Amira drove back home after working for another 9 hours. She sighed as she pulled into the driveway, happy to be home and see Sage. Upon walking in the door, she called for Sage. "I'm home! Where are you, love?" She asked, walking to his claw scratches humpy boario

Sage had gotten right to work, and as always, the day passed quickly. He didn't hear her come in since he had his earbuds in and was listening to music, though once she wandered into the humpy boario he noticed her out of the corner of his eye and jumped slightly before chuckling and taking an earbud out so he could embrace her. "Hey," he mused lightly. "Didn't hear you come in," he added with a soft chuckle.

"That's surprising. I basically yelled." She said, hugging him. "I missed you." She added after a moment

He chuckled softly. "I keep my music loud," he noted with a shrug, embracing her and pecking her head. "I missed you too. How was work?"

"Tiring. As always, but now i'm here. With you." She said, snuggling her head into his chest

Sage hummed softly and nodded."I got a few paintings shipped, and plenty of orders on the way, so I think our income is getting perfectly forest," he mused after a bit. "Who knows, maybe you can eventually quit and stay here all the time with me," he laughed.

"I wish." She said, smiling and kissing his jaw

He just grinned at her and kissed her head again. "I'll wash up here and then we can go do whatever, yeah," he mused, moving to grab his dirty brushes and work at cleaning them off

Amira went to make pad thai for dinner

Sage cleaned up and then wandered into the kitchen, nose twitching when he smelled her cooking. "Smells good babe....what is it," he asked peering over her shoulder into the pan. He'd never really gotten homemade food...he'd lived on microwavable meals or army packets, or nothing at all sometimes. So he wasn't sure what this was .. but it looked and smelled amazing.
