Jora watched as Sage’s grin widened, a flicker of anticipation sparking in his bright eyes. She felt a rush of warmth flood her cheeks while their light banter flowed easily between them. His playful confidence was infectious, drawing her in even further, and she couldn’t help but match his energy as she teased him back. “Good looking indeed,” she quipped, feigning an air of casualness, though her heart raced as he leaned closer, their noses barely inches apart. The world around them faded slightly, collapsing to just the two of them, and the heat emanating from him was tantalizingly distracting. When Sage mentioned being willing to help her focus, Jora couldn't suppress a smirk. “I can’t help but think you might have a few *distractions* in mind.” Her eyebrow arched playfully, teasing him in return. The thrill of the moment buzzed in the air, intensifying the connection they shared. She knew the chaotic thoughts swirling in her mind were drowned out by the magnetic pull between them, and Sage’s eager expression mirrored her own anticipation. Leaning in closer, Jora let her breath hitch slightly as her lips hovered near his ear. “Just remember,” she whispered, her voice soft but charged with an alluring challenge, “focusing can be quite the challenge when you’re so… distracting.” The words lingered between them, an invitation wrapped in a tease, as she surrendered to the undeniable tension, utterly captivated by the moment they were creating together.

Sage couldn't help but smirk when Jora mentioned she thought he was good looking....he should have been used to it by now, but he wasn't. She tried to act casual, but he knew full well their conversation and her comment was anything but. At her next comment, he hummed as if in thought and shrugged slightly, eyes glinting mischievously. "I might have a few," he noted, voice thick with desire. He could feel the heat of her body against his, the way her breath swirled along his face and neck....and he was suddenly just overwhelmed by the love he had for the girl. How utterly thankful he was to have her there at his side. When she whispered in his ear, he felt his breath hitch, and he leaned into her slightly, unable to stop himself. "Sometimes getting distracted can be good," he managed to breath out, definitely ready to get things moving by then.

Jora’s heart fluttered at the feeling of Sage’s kiss, her breath still unsteady as she pulled back slightly, eyes searching his. “Always?” she asked, a playful glint in her eyes, still caught in the lingering warmth of the moment. She couldn’t help the smile tugging at her lips as she traced the line of his jaw with her fingers. “I’m glad to hear that.” Her voice was soft, but there was an edge of affection in it, the kind that only came after moments like these. She settled closer, content, feeling his chest rise and fall beneath her.

Sage hummed softly with a nod, still catching his breath a little bit. "Always," he agreed with a sort of chuckle. "Though I do sometimes wonder why we pick the floor when the bed is like four feet away," he added with an amused snicker. He was more than happy to just settle in though, and wrapped his arms around her loosely. It was nice to just have some peace and quiet the two of them, when they both felt so good and there wasn't anything pressing to do. He still had a while before he had to go get her dinner.

Jora smiled softly at his words, her fingers tracing absent patterns on his chest as she rested against him. "I think the floor just feels... different," she mused, her voice quiet but teasing. "The bed's all soft and comfortable, but the floor feels grounding somehow, like it's easier to just exist here with you." She shifted a little to nestle closer, her cheek resting against him. "But I can’t argue with the fact that the bed would’ve been just as nice, too." She let out a little sigh of contentment, feeling the warmth of his presence and the quiet moments stretch on peacefully. "I'm glad we have this time," she said, a soft smile tugging at her lips. "No rush. Just... us."

Sage chuckled softly when she mentioned she liked the floor and shrugged. "Well I certainly can't complain," he mused lightly, fingers running through her hair absentmindedly as they lay there. "Me too," he hummed as she kept talking. "Things have been a bit...hectic the past few days. It's been nice to just relax," he added, nestling his nose in her hair happily, just breathing in her scent.

Jora smiled softly at his words, feeling the warmth of his presence even more as his fingers brushed through her hair. The sound of his chuckle made her heart flutter, and she closed her eyes for a moment, savoring the quiet peace between them. She could tell he was tired, but she was glad they could steal this moment together, away from the chaos. "Yeah," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper, "I think we both needed this." She nestled closer to him, letting the weight of his words settle around them. She could feel the tension slowly melting from him, just as it was from her, and for a few moments, the world outside didn’t seem so demanding. She could hardly remember the last time things felt this easy.

Sage had nodded softly as she spoke up, agreeing with her words completely. "Some time to unwind is nice here and there," he noted lightly, just closing his eyes and breathing in her scent. It was something they really had needed, and maybe didn't even realize it until now. BUt thigns had been kind of crazy for the past few days, so it was nice to relax now. Eventually though, the dinner bell did ring, which meant he needed to go get food. He didn't want to, but people might start asking questions if he wasn't on time as a servant. He sort of patted her back with a small sigh, asking to be let up. He could get up easily enough, but that would involve dropping her on the floor, which wasn't really a nice option. "I'll get that and be back soon, yeah," he sort of hummed as she let him up, moving to toss on some clothes quick and redo his hair, which she'd let loose when they'd first started messing around.
