Sophia pulled back slightly. "Ok" she pried herself from Zephyrs embrace. She cautiously opened the door. "What do you want Blake?" He grabbed her hand. "I really need you to forgive me. You have to. And I know you. You wouldn't open the door unless someone else was here. Who is it? Is it Izzy? We're not together anymore. You just said your parents aren't here" Sophia wrenched her hand from his. "No it's not-" "it's buddy boy from the basketball team ain't it. Aint it Sophia. " his jaw clenched and his voice deepened angrily. "Where is he. You're mine Sophia. You always will be" Blake pushed the door open and then pushed Sophia too. "Oh so it is him. "

Zephyr stayed silent, watching her leave and go to the door. The first part of Blake's words weren't horrible, but when Blake mentioned him and said Sophia was *his*, Zeph got a bit irritated. "I hate repeating myself, but if you keep shoving her around and acting like a jerk how is she ever supposed to forgive her? Nevermind the creepy way you're acting." Zeph huffed, his chin lifted as he stared down the other male.

(ok. Just to warn you. I am not a guy so fights like these are cheesy and weird lol I apologize in advance) - " I'm the jerk?" Blake asked "you're the one who strut your stuff in and stole Sophia from me. We were fine until you stuck your big head in our business " there seemed to be a pang of hurt in his voice, but he covered it with anger. Sophia stepped back and gulped. She didn't know what to do, if she should do anything. "Blake. If you do anything I'm going to call the police. You need to leave"

(That's fine XD) - Zephyr crossed his arms. "I did not strut anywhere. I wanted to be her friend. Someone can have more than one friend. It's a good thing I did though, because you showed your true personality when I came along. You could've stayed her BEST friend. You could've stayed the person she trusted, but YOU blew it. Not me." He answered sharply- he hated people blaming him for what he didn't do. "Sophia doesn't want you here. She said it herself. You might want to try again after thinking up a nicer way to say you're sorry."

Blake gritted his teeth and spun around toward Sophia. "I was nice! I tried being nice!" He turned toward Zephyr. "I didn't do anything. I was nice. I explained myself and she said no and I was okay with that" his face switched from anger to sadness when he looked at Sophia. "Dint give me the pouty face. It's not going to work this time. Go away Blake. Now. " she fumbled around the counter, grabbing her phone. "If you don't get out of my house I'm calling the police. I've had enough of your nonsense Blake. Trying to get into my house is one thing, but actually breaking in when I told you not to is another. " she couldn't believe she was threatening to call the police on someone she had been best friends with three weeks ago. "Please Blake. If you ever actually was my friend, you would back away right now and give me time to think. Forcing yourself on me is not going to get you anywhere except backwards" Sophia stood firm, but she was prepared to dodge any throw he made. Instead, he stepped back. "Ok Sophia. I see what's happening. I'll give you time. Just... talk to me." Blake turned around after one more sad look at Sophia and closed the door behind himself. Sophia sank to the ground. "I wish he wasn't so... Blake. Like if he was nicer I would've thought about it more, but I can't bear him anymore. He's just becoming too much" she said through sniffles and tears. "I'm sorry Zephyr. I'm sorry I've dragged you into this crazy hectic mess I'm living in"

Zephyr locked his jaw, ready to defend Sophia. He relaxed slightly when Blake calmed down slightly. The guy didn't look like he was going to fight anymore. Zephyr stayed alert but quiet for a few moments. "You don't have to listen to me but you need to listen to her." He said quietly, looking a little relieved when Blake stepped back and didn't advance. He had some sense. Zeph knew that much. After Blake left he sat down next to her with a sigh. "I'm sorry. And you can't be sorry. I chose to come into your life and I'm happy I did. However... I'm really sorry I caused this. I shouldn't have ..." He trailed off with a glance down. "Maybe if... if I hadn't come near you... maybe your life would be simpler. I'm sorry." He repeated with a slightly sad look.

"Don't say that! No" Sophia looked at him and shook her head. "No. It would be just as crazy. Never simple for me. It never had been. Look Zephyr... I wouldn't be who I am right now if you hadn't have asked me to prom. I would've been this sad little quiet book worm who was antisocial and never talked. You changed me in the best way possible. So please don't think you didn't anything wrong. If you hadn't come near me I probably would've given up drawing and would be stuck walking around trying to find out what to do with myself. And if I didn't bump into you then, it would've happened at some point further down the line. " she grabbed his hand. "So no. You can't be sorry. You are the reason I am so happy now. I'm putting my heart and soul into my drawings and softball now because I have a reason too. I'm not just a player now. I'm an actual person. " she pulled him into hug. "And now I'm going to cry because I've never said anything like that before"
| |
Zephyr glanced at her, dropping his head slightly. At her words, as she continued, he looked at her again, looking surprised. "Do you really mean that?" He asked quietly. "And don't cry. You are the person you are because of YOU, not anyone else. Just proves you're perfect the way you are without any altering. You were an actual person before. You just realized it now." He smiled faintly, squeezing her into the hug slightly.
| |
"Of course I really mean it. Why wouldn't I?" Her smile grew and it grew more when he gave her a squeeze. "I'm telling all of the truth. And I may have just realized it, but that means YOU are the reason IM finding it out"
| |
"Because your life would have been easier in a way without me." Zephyr pointed out, but he seemed content to believe what she was saying. "I may be the reason you're finding it out but I'm not the reason it happened in the first place." He smiled slightly and pulled back a little to look at her.
