"Everywhere? Man, instead of 4 hours of sleep I may need to start getting 12. I'm gonna be exhausted!" Ajax sighed dramatically, a smile forming on his face. "Aw, you haven't seen anything yet. You just wait." Ajax smiled slyly, the world falling into darkness as the sun sank below the horizon and disappeared. At the same time, the perfect, full moon rose, shining on the lake. After a little while the sky didn't get darker... instead it got brighter, shining with green light. "Around this time the nothern lights like to come out. I believe THEY are the most spectacular thing I've ever seen." Ajax smiled gently, watching as the green lights grew stronger and rippled across the sky in a rainbow of color as purple started appearing as well, which was rare.

"I'm not that heavy." Mercy huffed dramatically, giving him a slight glare when he next spoke. "You know I'm not patient." She huffed, curling her knees up to her chest. She watched the moon rise in slight awe, sitting up in alarm when the northern lights appeared. "I've never seen them before." She said breathlessly, giving him an excited glance. "They're stunning." She murmured, laying down across his lap so she could look up at them.

"To a tired person you are! I'm not superman." Ajax huffed right back, just as, if not even more, dramatically. "Too bad. Learn." he snorted, looking at the sky. These were definitely the most beautiful northern lights he had ever seen. "You- you- you- you what? You've never seen them before? How?" he sounded stunned, looking at her with a shocked expression overlapping the stunned one. "You poor thing! Wait- no- you extremely poor thing!" Ajax crossed his arms with a huff. "How could you ever NOT see these giant NIGHTLIGHTS up in the sky?" He asked, then made a sound like a radio rewinding. "Ner'mind. You lived in a city. City lights. Gooot it." He shook his head a little, resuming looking up and uncrossing his arms. "They truly are stunning. Most beautiful thing I've ever seen... well, second to you, obviously." Ajax grinned

"You're my superman." Mercy said softly, batting her eyelashes at him teasingly. "No, I won't." She huffed, still staring past him at the sky. She chuckled at his shock, shaking her head. She gently grabbed his hand and intertwined their fingers, smiling faintly. "My love, the northern lights are only visible in exclusive parts of the world. Plus, where I live, there's light pollution." She chuckled, rolling her eyes slightly at his last comment. "Right, smooth." She said sarcastically, sitting up and releasing his hand. "Lay with me." She offered, moving so he would have room to lay beside her.

"Ha, sorry to disappoint you." Ajax rolled his eyes, snorting. "Oh, really? I would've never known! Oh- wait- I did know that... I lived in TEXAS. I just prefer northern states now!" He joked, his eyes twinkling. "Light pollution, eh? Terrible stuff." Ajax sniffed, waving a hand. "Very smooth." He agreed with a grin. "I'm not much of a laying down person... unless of course I'm injured terribly and collapsed on the ground... but I'll do it for you. Plus then my neck won't hurt from craning it to look up." Ajax teased, lowering himself on his back beside her to look at the stars shimmering behind the glowing green and purple lights in the dark night sky.

"That's you. Very smooth." Mercy teased, grinning at him as he agreed to lay down. "Well, I'm always concerned for your well being, so I'm preventing your neck from hurting." She teased, laying beside him on her side so she could set her head on his shoulder.

"Agreed, very smooth. I mean, Goose and Rooster don't hold a candle to my handsome charm." Ajax let out a laugh, staring at the sky before chuckling at her comment. "Oh ok, sure. That was definitely the only reason you asked me to lay down." He said slowly, a teasing glimmer in his eyes as he turned his head to look at Mercy. "I really couldn't imagine a better thing than this, though. Being here with you, watching the sunrise then seeing one of the most beautiful shows of nothern lights eever under the full moon, by a lake, in the grass, no annoying humans or otherwise... it is nice." Ajax smiled a little. "I don't get to do this everyday."

"Mmmm, I don't know. If Goose shaved..." Mercy let out a fake wolf-whistle, teasing completely. "It was! I'm always looking out for you." She quipped, turning her head to him as he started speaking again. She softened and cuddled closer to him. "I can't either. I could spend forever in this moment and be completely happy." She said softly, pressing a light kiss to his lips.

Ajax gasped, flipping his hand to press the back of it against his forehead and go limp in the grass. "How dare you! For one, if you even mentioned Goose's beard in the same sentence with anything having to do with shaving, he would go ballistic. For two, EXCUSE YOU SUPERMAN RIGHT HERE HELLOOOO DO YOU SEE MY HANDSOME FACE MA'AM," Ajax huffed, pointing at his face. "I wouldn't do this for anyone! Smiling is rare for me!" He snorted, letting his hands drift back down to his sides. "I could as well. Wait no scratch that- if I had a beer and some spaghetti I could. Yesss." Ajax looked dreamy for a moment before laughing, pressing his forehead against Mercy's for a moment. "I might sound like a broken record at this point- but you are just truly amazing. I'll never be able to get over it."

Mercy chuckled at his answer, gently reaching up to stroke his hair. "I was kidding! I was kidding! You are the most handsome, drop dead gorgeous man in existence, I have no idea what I was thinking. I was possesed." She chuckled, pressing her forehead against his in turn. She let out a little sigh at his last words, closing her eyes. "I love you, Ajax. I love everything about you. You're so... Ugh, I'm so lucky." She huffed, cuddling closer to him.
