Regan grinned happily, looking more than thrilled with the boy's slight annoyance. "Oh, but it is true! You did say that, did you not?" She asked with a bit of a happy bounce. "It's cute, is all. Like an old man," she mused to him with a bit of a hum. "You're about the only person I talk to. Or the only person I enjoy talking to, despite how unfunny you find me and how much I like to annoy you," she mused to him with a bit of a chuckle before going to munch on the bag of sweets she'd picked up.

Tyler shook his head. "I was JOKING." He snorted. He knew Regan would never let up on it now. "It's not cute and I don't think, look, or act like an old man." He sighed, putting his head in his handsome. "The only thing that is like an old man with me... I'm getting a headache listening to YOU because you are VERY annoying." Tyler muttered, though he sounded slightly amused. "Don't you worry, I'll be getting grey streaks in my hair soon and it will Be your fault." Tyler chuckled.

Regan scowled at him. "You were not joking, not at all," she huffed after a few moments before shaking her head. "No, no you don't look like an old man, however, you certainly act like one, so I assume you think like one too," she told him with a happy smile. "You like me really. And I'm sure you'll embrace your greys just fine," she told him with a happy grin. She felt her stomach churn a little in an unpleasant way when he said she was annoying but played that moment of upset off with another grin. After all, she was trying to be a bit of a nuisance, so she shouldn't get upset about it.

Tyler shook his head and sighed, giving up. "Well at least you admitted I don't look like one.. yet." He laughed, glancing around. "And grey and black might look okay together... we'll see..." He mused, thinking. Eh, they might, it was unlikely but still. Plus unless Regan really got on his nerves he wouldn't get grey hair... that was just a joke. Regan never REALLy got on his nerves. Just a little.

"Yet," she repeated to him with a grin. "If you spend enough time with me then you'll be looking like a grandpa soon enough," she told him ina fairly upbeat tone. "Yeah, I'm just imagining you with a snow-white streak in your hair," she told him after a few moments, giving him a smile, her dimples briefly showing at the genuine nature of it. "I'm gonna get you a bird book or something once this is all over," she chirped. Well, that was an improvement. It, for once, wasn't if they got out of this... it was when, which had to be the first time she'd said such a thing.

Tyler closed his eyes a moment. "Snow white in my black hair... no way." He shook his head. 'That will never happen. I was born with black hair, I will live with black hair, and i will die with black hair. The end." He huffed. "I don't need a bird book because I already know all the species, though..." Tyler laughed.

Regan rolled her eyes at him. "Well, what am I meant to get out? A fish book?" She asked with a bit of a huff before smiling lightly at him. "Really? I think you'd be a sexy old man with a white streak." She chuckled, shaking her head and clearly showing him that she was just joking - she didn't think that, not at all. "You're just some kind of animal person, aren't you Tyler," she huffed to him before shrugging lightly. "I don't even know where you'd find the time to learn all of this," she then added, rolling her eyes once more.

Tyler rolled his eyes at her first comment, then yelped at her second. "Really!? You had to tease about that?" He snorted, searching through his bag. He definetely wasn't angry, because Regan had just been teasing, but still. Tyler pulled out what looked to be a... deer stick. He took a bite, chewing thoughtfully. "Yes, I am an animal person. When I spend 23 out of the 24 hours in a day hiding from my father, i tend to read a lot." He huffed

"I really think you'd be a hot grandpa!" She continued to joke before rolling her eyes. She had to admit, she felt awful to hear of his past... what his father had done to him. "You're a wonderful person, Tyler. You truly didn't deserve anything that awful man did to you," she told him gently before sitting down on a bench. He knew that. He knew that he didn't deserve any of that, and the fact that he was safer in the middle of a rabies outbreak than in the same house as him was horrifying, it really was.

Tyler groaned and covered his face with his hands. "Stop just stop, you're killing me." He said quietly, shaking his head. He half covered his face to hide the amused look, and half did it because he just wanted her to stop. Tyler finished eating the deer stick and sighed, closing his eyes. "Sometimes you are very helpful... but other times..." He murmured jokingly
