Sage smiled happily at the girl and the interaction with his wife. They were both pretty, and cute together. Caroline looked more and more like Aria each day, and he was definitely glad that was happening.

Aria looked over at Sage and smiled. She sat Caroline on the bed and sighed. "Can... Can I talk to you in the hallway really quick?" She asked Sage quietly.

|
Sage looked surprised for a moment and then nodded. He was a bit worried about what she wanted to talk about...and why she wanted to go in the hallway when they had a perfectly private room was beyond him, but whatever. "Of course," he told her, turning to walk in the direction.

Aria nodded. She walked out behind him and stood facing him. "Am I... acting weird to you?" She asked, looking down at the ground. "I just feel like, something's wrong with me." The girl said. "And I know i'm probably getting emotional... like always. But, I just want you to know that I love you with all my heart-" Aria felt tears welling up in her eyes. "... And if something happens to me, please love Caroline the same way." She said. The girl wrapped her arms around Sage and cried into his shoulder. "Sorry." She whimpered. "Its been a tough morning."

Sage looked rather confused when she said she felt like something was wrong with her. He shook his head, though she'd already moved on. His look of confusion turned to absolute shock when she broke down, and he wrapped his arms around her quickly. "No....no don't be sorry," he murmured. "But what's wrong," he asked. "I mean...we've only been up for an hour or so." He was just confused. "Do you want to talk to the doctor?"

|
Aria shook her head. "I-Its just more about the thoughts that are rushing through my head. I'm not sick or anything. It just makes me seem like a lunatic." The girl said. She hugged Sage back tighter, not wanting to let go. "Sorry if I seem so emotional all the time. Losing my parents sort of changed me." She said sadly. Sage always comforted her just like her parents did. Aria closed her bright green eyes. Her tear-stained face hid against Sage's shoulder.

|
Sage hummed lightly and shook his head slightly, readying his head on the girls and giving her a light, comforting squeeze. "It's alright," he murmured. "You're allowed to grieve, you know," he hummed. He was worried about her, but it would get better with time.

|
Aria wiped her cheeks and smiled softly at Sage. "Thank you." She said quietly, walking back into the room. Caroline just sat on the bed, very confused on why her mother was so sad. The little girl watched Aria walk over, thinking she was coming to get her. Caroline beamed and reached her hands up to Aria. Aria grinned down at her and picked her up, resting the girl in her lap as she sat.

Sage nodded and squeezed Aria one more time before releasing her so they could go back to the room. He grinned when Caroline immediately popped her head up and reached towards Aria, glad that he had this little family. He wondered if Aria would be up for another one sometime soon..to give Caroline a sibling.

Aria smiled up at Sage, who was standing by the doorway. She played with Caroline's little baby curls and pulled them up to a little ponytail on the top of her head. Caroline seemed to enjoy all the attention. She grabbed Aria's fingers and started chewing on them again. Aria giggled and looked up at Sage happily.
