04:11:33 I used to have a professor who wanted students to ask questions just so he could argue with him. He must of had issues with self confidence because he believed he had to prove he was right about everything. |

Can I whine about this one for a moment? |
04:01:29 Angel Cats🐈 I am also hoping that, for you, Iris |
04:01:21 Kelan/Rain LOL well if that's all then I guarantee if he's not happy with an apology email he's not worth worrying about. Professors have to deal with arrogant students and staff and parents ALL the time |
04:00:35 whisper/lynx iris i pray it gets better soon <3 |
04:00:05 Void Malign ...Speaking of work e-mails, there's several I'm straight up ignoring right now lol |
03:59:51 Iris Like we talking i plastered "bitch" on my forehead for the rest of the semester |
03:59:24 Iris Rain im so not saying it just know i fucked up and it probably came off as REALLY arrogant |
03:58:42 Iris lynx this hits way harder though because I've pretty much been cooped up in my room for 4 years looking for an entry level job I can walk to without a car x-x I have no friends and this was the first conversation ive had in like 4 years |
03:58:32 Kelan/Rain Also on the him not getting back to you, as a working adult, sometimes emails just sit in my inbox, especially those that I think aren't super time pressed |
03:57:14 Kelan/Rain ... okay now I'm curious if he could take it personally what was the question you asked? |
03:56:45 🎀 Diva give it a day or two, he also might need a minute |
03:56:44 whisper/lynx iris everyone makes mistakes in life. everyone you know has definitely made many mistakes, probably maybe even like the one you made. you'll be fine, because here is everyone else, living life as if nothing happened |
03:56:32 Void Malign It's school, people are there to learn. Dumb questions are going to be asked and honestly, it's not something that needs or should be apologized over. |
03:56:00 Iris Diva I did but my worry is that in his comment he took what I said personally or something and I already did my apology email but he hasnt gotten back to me |
03:55:44 Kelan/Rain I mean, I don't know if it's an American university or if your curriculum is based off having good class participation, but believe me, you aren't the first student they've had ask a dumb question, and you won't be the last. I had my fair share of dumb questions when I was going through college |

Jora watched as Sage's eyes lit up with that glint of mischief that always sent a thrill through her. She felt a magnetic pull to him, the way he huddled closer and leaned in, the warmth of his presence sending shivers racing down her spine. His playful agreement resonated with her, sparking something delightfully unpredictable in her. But then, in a blink, before she could fully grasp what was happening, Sage's hands slid from her hips, and her heart raced. A flicker of surprise crossed her face, quickly turning into a grin as she saw the impish delight sparkling in his expression. She barely registered the chill of the air against her skin before he playfully yanked her pants down, trapping her in that moment between shock and laughter. Her instinct kicked in. "Oh, you did NOT just do that!" she called out, feigning outrage even as her heart soared with the thrill of their playful banter. She sprang after him, laughter bubbling up uncontrollably as she chased him around the room. It felt like a game unlike any other, a delightful dance of wit and whimsy where neither of them wanted to be the one taken too seriously. The chase was exhilarating—Sage's sassiness igniting something wild in her. Jora could feel adrenaline coursing through her veins, pushing her to be faster, quicker, to tackle him. And when she finally tackled him, both of them collapsing in a heap of laughter, she felt a complete rush of triumph mixed with joy. It wasn't just the thrill of the chase; it was the warmth of their connection, that perfect blend of teasing and intimacy that sent sparks flying between them. She couldn’t help but lean over him, a mischievous grin plastered on her face. “Caught you!” she declared playfully, her breath still hitching from the chase.

Sage had known she'd chase him...that was why he'd sprung away so fast. Jora had the advantage of a much longer stride, so in order to make it actually enjoyable, he needed every extra second he could get. And while he didn't want to drag it out for too long, this was enjoyable, soo he didn't want it to end right away. Her comment caused another laugh to bubble up out of his mouth, nearly causing him to stop running, though he caught himself at the last second and pulled away from her again, farting around the bed with a cackle. When she finally managed to grab him and shove him over to where they'd rolled around on the floor in a half hearted wrestling match, he sort of wriggled around before she'd finally gotten him sufficiently pinned on the floor, and he sort of gave up, just flopping there and attempting to catch his breath despite the laughter lingering in his chest. They both had pretty good stamina...but laughing and running made for getting you out of breath pretty quickly. He just chuckled at her declaration, nodding in agreement, cheat heaving and hair having come completely undone by then. "That you did," he agreed with a laugh. "The question is, what are you gonna do about it?" It was mostly playful, but there was a hint of challenge in it...one he knew she'd leapt at the opportunity for.

There was a twinge of fatigue, but it was overshadowed by the sheer happiness of their playful struggle. She felt his warmth beneath her, and for a moment, she simply enjoyed the closeness, the laughter, and the easy camaraderie they always shared. “I might have cheated a little,” Jora admitted, her eyes sparkling as she caught her breath. Her heart swelled as she gazed at him, the mix of challenge and mischief in his eyes inviting her to push further. She tugged at his shirt. "I think, you're wearing too many clothes" she purrs The playful challenge hung in the air, and she knew he wouldn’t back down. She loved how he could stir up that competitive spirit in her. Whatever he had in mind, she was ready—because this laughter, this joy, and the playful banter flowing between them made every moment feel alive, and she didn’t want this delightful game to end just yet.

Sage just grinned up at Jora happily, chest heaving after their playful scramble. "Well, either way we'd end up here," he noted with a chuckle. Of course, whatever she'd done it wouldn't matter.... he'd have let her catch him in a minute or two anyway, since he was rather excited about what would come after their game of chase. Though, he challenge about his clothes pulled a breathless laugh from his lips. "Yeah," he asked, eyebrows arching upwards as if pondering it. Really, he couldn't wait to get his clothes off... hers too, of course, but that would also come with time. "I suppose you're right," he mused after a moment or so. "Although, with you sitting on top of me I might need some help," he added in a more mischevious tone, wriggling willingly to allow her to tug the shirt off and voer his head before settling back down, eyes glittering.

Jora felt a rush of warmth as she looked down at Sage, his laughter infectious and his playful spirit igniting a spark within her. His words hung in the air, lighthearted and teasing, and she couldn't help but smile wider. "Need help, huh?" she replied, her voice playful yet laced with a coyness that matched the mischief in his eyes. The way he wiggled beneath her only made her pulse quicken, and she relished the moment. She leaned in closer, feeling the heat radiate between them, playful yet charged with something deeper. "Maybe that's exactly what I want," she said with a teasing lilt, her fingers brushing against his shirt as she pretended to consider the task at hand. The game of chase had led them here, and now, with his eyes sparkling with anticipation, she knew they were on the verge of something even more exhilarating. With a determined but playful tug, she helped wriggle his shirt off, taking a moment to appreciate the sight of him without the barrier of fabric. The thrill of the chase was still in the air, but now it was tinged with a sweet promise of what was to come, and she couldn't wait to see where their playful energy would lead them next.

Sage felt his mischevious grin widen as he hummed along in agreement to her first comment, head bobbing up and down playfully. "Just a little bit," he mused lightly, laughter in his voice. His shirt was gone soon enough, of course...even with all their playful banter and pretend thinking, it really wasn't long. It never did take them very long to get into the thrill of it all, he supposed. "Good," he sort of purred back at her next comment, a light blush appearing on his features as he noticed the way she scanned his body once the fabric was removed. "Liking what you see, then," he asked, really just teasing her a bit. She did...a lot. That much was clear. But he could mess around a bit.

From where Jora was, watching Sage’s mischievous grin unfurl like a secret she wasn’t supposed to know, a familiar warmth spread through her. His laughter was infectious, igniting a spark of excitement in the air between them as he bobbed his head, fully engaged in their banter. The moment he shed his shirt, a rush of anticipation coursed through her. It was always a quick descent into playful chaos with them—it felt like they were dancing on a precipice, where laughter turned into something electric, something that loomed just beyond their teasing words. She didn’t shy away from her gaze; he caught her looking, and the blush creeping up his cheeks only added to the allure of the moment. She filled the space between them with a feigned nonchalance, but her heart raced at the playful challenge in his tone. After all, she knew how much he enjoyed this back-and-forth, the light-hearted tension that crackled whenever they were near each other. “Honestly? It’s hard not to,” she replied, letting her gaze trail over him in a way that conveyed both innocence and the underlying admiration she felt. “You’re quite the distraction, Sage.” Her smirk said it all—the thrill was palpable, and in this moment, it didn’t feel wrong to embrace it. After all, wasn’t that what they were both here for?

Sage couldn't help but laugh at the girls comment, blush deepening as he took her words in. It left a warm feeling of something in his chest....not just the satisfaction of knowing what she thought about him, but the fact that she enjoyed his company as much as his body. "Am I then," he mused, really just teasing her a bit more. "Well you don't seem too distracted to me," he noted, cocking his head slightly, sort of trailing his fingers along her thighs, since that was what he could reach at the moment. They were starting to dive down into the chaos that would soon come by then....and he wasn't upset about it at all.

Jora felt a mix of amusement and warmth as she watched Sage's expression shift, the teasing glint in his eye making her heart race just a little faster. There was something intoxicating about the way he spoke, the way he seemed to really see her, and not just the surface. "Am I distracted?" she replied playfully, raising an eyebrow at him. "Maybe a little, but can you blame me?" She tried to maintain her composure, but the way his fingers trailed along her thighs sent a shiver through her. She could feel the heat rising between them, almost tangible in the air, and it made her head spin. "Besides, you started it," she added with a cheeky smile, knowing full well the magnetic pull between them was only going to grow stronger as they journeyed deeper into their chaotic venture. Jora leaned in a bit closer, the space between them narrowing, and she whispered, "Just wait until the chaos really begins. I might need some help keeping my focus." Her playful tease hung in the air, full of promise and opportunity, igniting a spark of adventure in her chest.

Sage felt his grin widen as she continued their light banter, blush deepening slightly as the anticipation grew. He knew full well what was coming ...or at least, the general idea of what was coming. And he was definitely ready. "Well, I suppose I am rather good looking," he teased with a chuckle in response to her first comment before shrugging with a light hum of agreement in response to her second. He felt his eyebrows creep up as she mentioned the chaos, blush deepening as he processed her words. Of course, that wasn't abnormal...but it was sort of annoying how easily he got flustered. "Well, I'd be more than willing to help keep you focused," he purred up at her, leaning into her touch so that they were practically nose to nose. He could feel her heat...feel every part of her body pressed against his. And it was safe to say he was rather eager to get everything going.
