"I started worrying a long time ago." He slouched a bit. "He tells me if he's angry normally, or shows it. He doesn't run away.." He rolled his eyes. He felt himself getting more drowsy.

"You can actually fall asleep on my shoulder, if you want to. You could use the sleep anyway." She kept glancing back at him, her worry becoming more and more prominent every time she looked back.

He sighed, shutting his eyes for a moment. He huffed and leaned forward onto her left shoulder. He left off to sleep wondering why he couldn't sleep till she came around.

She smiled at him and how quickly he faded off to sleep, trying desperately not to read too far into it. She settled for squeezing his hand gently and trying to keep red from crawling up her cheeks while they flew on... and on... and on. Till pink tinged the sky and she was sure they would be at the outskirts of the sanctuary within half an hour- when Castor started behaving strangely. He started sneezing, and coughing. Then, ignoring her transmissions and proceeding to become more unruly till he tucked his wings and dove almost straight down.

Ethan was awoken slightly, disturbed by the coughing and ..choking of Castor. He failed to realize he should wake up when he saw the sun and heard Castor struggle. He wrapped an arm around Asta quickly and grabbed onto his wing now that they were flying vertically.

She held onto Ethans hand with a death grip, bracing for impact. Castor flailed, straightening out a bit too late for them to glide. They hit the ground, hard. Ethan and Asta got sent flying forward in the dirt, Castor struggling with his own, strange battle. Fighting for consciousness against the black pressing into her vision, she blinked and looked around for him, coughing in the dust.

Ethan was- in short- unprepared for any of the forming events. Being launched into the air- which he lost Asta in. He landed- and rolled a good ways away from both of them. Just about everything hurt, he rolled over onto his stomach, coughing. Amazingly his head didn't hurt badly at all, but his left side- mostly back- was not as good. He slowly pulled himself up a little onto his hands and knees.

"Ethan?" She coughed, looking around in a panic. She was too impaired by the dust and panic for Ethan to notice the other events happening. She crawled around. "Ethan?! Where are you?" There was no mistaking the panic in her voice while she squinted through the dust.

He shook his head, a cloud of dust impairing his sight but not his hearing. "What Asta? Are you okay?" He winced a little at his ribs when he yelled. He slowly pushed himself onto his feet, almost falling over when he realised how bad his leg hurt, leaning over for a moment. But he could see over he cloud of dust and limped toward her, rolling his left shoulder back a bit. He inhaled through his teeth before he knelt down beside Asta. "I'm here."
