"and I really do mean you're very welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed the meal." Ajax smiled, starting to go to the sink to wash his dish before Mercy snatched it up and went to wash it. "Hey- I am capable of washing my own dish!" He complained, starting to put the spaghetti into containers and putting he conainers into the fridge.

"Well, I'm glad you made it for me." Mercy smiled, giving him a mischievous smirk over her shoulder when he spoke again. "Nah, I don't think so. You cooked, so I get to clean. It's only fair." She shrugged, beginning to hum slightly as she washed and dried the dishes.

Ajax nodded, rolling his eyes as Mercy smirked at him. "Fine- have fun cleaning. Not like I want to do it. It IS a woman's work." The first two sentences sounded normal, but at the last he snickered a little, his eys twinkling. Ajax wiped off the table quickly before making sure there was nothing else to do and going to lean against the wall. - Goose broke the door right off it's hinges, barrled in, and slammed Ajax into the wall. "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS. I thought I was your friend, Ajax!" He howled, balling his hands into fists and stepping back, seething. - Rooster came tumbling in after Goose with an anxious look. "Ajax, are you alright? I'm sorry, I tried to stop him but- you know ho he gets when he's angry." He muttered unhappily, hanging his head a little. - Ajax yelped in pain as his sore shoulder got twisted, flailing a little before tripping and falling onto the couch. "Goose!" He exclaimed. His friend had been rash, but never violent before. That actually... hurt. Ajax stood back up with a wince, taking a step forward. "It's okay Rooster... and what are you doing here? I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was leaving, but we got paid a visit by someone I don't like very much and I wasn't thinking about dropping by for a nice little party!"

"Mhm. Say that again and I'll come over there and smack you with my wings." Mercy scoffed, chuckling all the same. She jumped, dropping a plate as she heard the door slam open, spinning to look at it. "HEY! Don't you dare touch him like that." She hissed, halfway toward Goose before she ended her sentence, flaring her wings angrily. "You have no right, no matter how angry you are, to come into HIS house and shove him around like that." She snarled, giving Rooster and excusing look as she stalked to stand in front of Ajax, gently brushing her hands over his shoulders. "Are you okay?" She murmured softly. "God, do you ever, EVER consider other people when you barge in like this? He has been gone for less than a day. LESS THAN A SINGULAR DAY! I would really, REALLY like to spend some alone time with my boyfriend without dear of YOU barging in!" She hissed, a little too fed up to hold back. She span around, sending her narrow glare at Goose. "I appreciate that you want to spend time with Ajax. I do. But needing to see him once every TWELVE HOURS is a little much. No?" She scoffed.

Ajax stood there, looking shell-shocked as Mercy EXPLODED, sending insults he felt that she had been holding back for a while shooting at Goose like fiery shots of led from hell. "I'll be fine.." He answered slowly, his black eyebrows almost looking nonexsistant since they were up under his hair... which honestly was incredibly difficult to accomplish because Ajax definitely didn't have the longest bangs. "Boyfriend?" He chorused at about the same time as Goose and Rooster. - Goose's blue eyes widened as he stepped back, his hands dropping to his sides. He blinked a couple times, opening and closing his mouth before stopping again. After Mercy was done dragging him through the mud he stood there for another moment, astonished. "I-" He stopped again, looking at the ground. "Boyfriend?" Goose asked close to the same time as Ajax, taking another step back. "Mercy- I didn;t know you felt like that- and you're right... I shouldn't have just come in here and it hasn't been long at all. I'm.. I'm sorry." He muttered guiltily, turning around and marching right back out before taking off and shooting away like a lanched missile. - "Boyfriend?" Rooster mumbledin his gravelly voice, then watched Goose stumble over words before practically tripping over Goose's own feet and taking off. "Uh- I'll see you later Mercy, Ajax. Ima go take care of that." He looked at Goose, then the two, then Goose, then waved a hand in Goose's direction and flew off. - Ajax blinked a couple times as Goose flew off, his shoulder aching. He looked at Rooster, then slowly turned his gaze to Mercy... very slowly. "I cannot thank you enough for what you just did. Goose needed to be dragged off his high horse and I just couldn't do that to him. He'll come around... hopefully after my shoulder feels better." Ajax winced, furrowing his eyebrows a little. "I'm really sorry about dragging them into this mess... it doesn't really help at times." He gave a dry laugh. "I'm ok, Mercy, and truly... thank you." Ajax wrapped his arms around her in a soft embrace, his shoulder already throbbing again.

Mercy flushed slightly from the chorus of questions, shriveling just a little inside. She crossed her arms and watched Goose slightly remorsefully- she hadn't meant to make him feel bad, she just wanted... to get him to back down. Now, she felt guilty. She glanced at Rooster and flashed a weak smile. "Tell him I'm sorry, okay? I- I overreacted a little." She murmured softly. She glanced at Ajax and slowly turned around, wincing slightly. "Yeah, anytime. Is it... do you... I mean, that was kind of presumptuous of me, to call you my boyfriend." She murmured quietly, returning his embrace tightly. "I mean, if you- if you wanted to be. But, I don't wanna pressure you or anything-"

Ajax looked at Mercy, furrowing his brow. He could tell she felt a little guilty. "Mercy, don't feel bad. Goose gets offended easily. Also, don't worry. He is incapable of having a grudge. He'll come back soon." He assured her, then a twinkle came into his eyes. "Just enjoy the time you have with me." He added with a chuckle, looking Mercy in the eye as she said her last sentence. "Mercy, I would be honored to be called your boyfriend. It only means I would be the luckiest man alive." He grinned, leaning down and kissing her gingerly before pulling back.

Mercy gave a little sigh, closing her eyes and nodding. "Alright. I just hope I didn't hurt his feelings... too much." She said, chuckling just a little in spite of herself. She gave him a gentle squeeze at his second comment. "Will do, Captain." She teased, lifting her head and giving him a bright smile at his answer. She reciprocated his kiss softly but surely, pressing her head into his neck. "You should be careful saying stuff like that. My ego might get too big." She teased.

"Captain, another new one! You do know I actually had to concentrate to say *captain* and not just cap'n, so that may not work." He joked, smiling happily. "Oh my- the pretty lil' angel with a big ego? Well I never would have thought that could happen! I thought only I had the ego.." Ajax gasped dramatically, snorting a little. "Well if that is the case I will inflate your ego all I can if it means giving you compliments." He grinned

"You just keep on collecting them." Mercy grinned, reaching up to toy with his hair happily. She scoffed at him, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "I admire that you think I'm so humble. I must be, in comparison to you." She teased. She smiled at his last words, settling her head on his chest. "That's so sweet." She murmured softly, smiling to herself. "I think I'm definitely the lucky one here." She finished quietly.
