Rose got in, overthinking. "I'm sorry for arguing with you. It doesn't matter who you were ith when we werent together"

"What--oh, yeah. Uh, that doesn't matter anymore." He said with a forced smile.

"I'm sorry for yelling, though"

The two drove home in silence, the engine the only noise.

Rose got out once they got home. "Thank you" She said to Caden

He nodded, Murphy bounding out of the house.

Rose pet the dog before walking to Caden. "I love you" she said softly
