Morgan couldn't help her soft laugh, and hugged him a little closer. "I love you more than anything, you know that," she whispered. The door knocked after a moment, and she glanced up. "That'll be your lawyer," she murmured quietly.

Caleb let her go and his mental walls came back up, listening to the lawyer's thoughts

Morgan sighed and pecked his lips lightly. "Go sit at the table," she whispered before pulling away and wandering over to the door, answering it with that flashy smile of hers. "Are you here for Caleb?" She asked with an upbeat tone. The man nodded, and Morgan lead him inside to the table. "Caleb, this is..." she trailed off and gave the man a look, he smiled and offered the boy a hand. "I'm Luke Smith. I hear you're in a difficult situation?" He murmured, taking a seat. Morgan looked up after a second and sighed. "He's gonna help you out. I'll come see you in a bit, hm?" She whispered.

Caleb explained everything, from his horrific childhood to that very moment. He felt like a sort of weight had been lifted from his shoulders and by the end he spoke clearly and confidently

The man sat there, listening and writing little by little. He nodded along quietly, humming softly he tried to figure everything out. He sat back after a moment and gave a little nod again. "Okay," he hummed, glancing back up. "And is there anything that your mother will use against you that you know of?" He asked.

Caleb thought for a long moment, not wanting to miss anything. "No, sir." He said
