Regan shook her head a little bit at him before sighing softly. "No, no I like those things about you! I don't know many guys our age that like fish and grammar," she mused lightly to the boy before shaking her head. She listened to him happily, really just enjoying listening to him talk about the things he liked. So he liked venison? Cool, she'd make a venison stake that night for him. And maybe find an old record or something for him. They had a few old record players and things on the camp, so it would be nice to get him something he enjoyed. She just liked listening to him talk about himself for a little while, it was more than enough to keep her happy. "Well, talk about it as much as you'd like... though, it's not like I could talk back to you much. I know nothing about music," she mused lightly. She'd find him some good books, too. "You like snowmobile riding? Hell, that must be fun," she chuckled lightly. "I like the colour green... like a light green, and I love sports. Well, most sports," she chuckled lightly. "I don't really listen to music, though," she added with a laugh.

Tyler smiled slightly but kept silent, listening to what Regan said. "Okay well... I have a new top of the list task. You just about gave me a heart attack when you said you don't listen to music... but tell me this. Do you know who Toby Keith is? Have you EVER heard one of his songs?" Tyler asked. If she hadn't... he might just have a heart attack. Or die in some other scary way. That was like not knowing who AC/DC was in rock, or not knowing who MercyMe or For King and Country was in Christian. It would be devastating.

The girl just stared blankly at him after a few moments, then cocked her head the way a puppy hearing something new might do. "Uhm.. no," she hummed lightly. "I mean, I've heard of them - I just don't listen to them, not really," she mused lightly before shaking her head. "I'm not a music freak like you," she mused lightly to him, though she'd made sure he knew she was just teasing. "Maybe you should drop me and go find a friend that likes to listen to that kind of think so you can actually talk to them about it'll she told him with an amused scoff.

Tyler closed his eyes. "That's okay... I have plenty of hours to bore you to death with sings." He grinned. "Being a music freak is what makes me... me, so fine. Call me what you want." Tyler chuckled. "So... being the 'music freak' I am I recorded about 400 songs that I liked... and I have them all. I can now listen to them whenever I want. Now... Toby's top hit was probably Beer for my Horses. No, American Ride. No... Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue. One of those." Tylermlaughed, knowing Regan was probably very confused.

Regan chuckled softly to him before shaking her head. "I didn't say it was a bad thing," she mused. "I rather like you the way you are, even if you are a music freak," she told him with a bit of a chuckle. She kind of went quiet, nodding along to what he was saying, even if she didn't know what he was saying. She just liked listening to him talk about something he loved. "I haven't got a clue about anything you were saying," she mused lightly.

Tyler smiled slightly. "That's a good thing, because there is no way I'm changing." He chuckled. Tyler tipped his head slightly and laughed at her comment. "I know... that's half the reason I'm saying it." He teased, glancing around camp. Tyler rummaged through his back pack a second before pulling out something he recorded the songs on. (I don't know if we want to use a phone or tape recorder or what... so I called it something lol) "If you listened to music... what genre do you think you'd prefer?" Tyler asked, tipping his head

(All tec is fine! It might be interesting to have it run out as some point, though, and perhaps have Regan find something else for him to play music on... say an old music player? Could be nice since your character obviously loves music.) Regan gasped at him for a few moments before wrinkling her nose. "So, you're trying to make me feel stupid!" She accused him with a frown, though there was still more than a playful twinkle in her eyes, looking more than happy to tease. She watched him for a few moments before cocking her head at him, a fair bit curious as to what he was doing. When he pulled out his device she stared at him with wide eyes before shaking her head. "I'm not sure," she hummed lightly. "Just anything upbeat, I guess. As long as it's fun," she chirped to with a grin.

Tyler mock gasped. "Never. I said half the reason. The other half was because I haven't talked about music since my one friend was with me way back when." He laughed. "Oh come on, how can you be not sure? Also, all music is fun." Tyler rolled his eyes, sitting back down at the bench. He tried to think of a good song for Regan... she didn't seem like the type to love slow country music. He finally started Thunderstruck by AC/DC. Tyler let the song play, then looked at Regan. "Well? As horrible as you thought??" He asked

Regan hummed quietly to him before shaking her head. "No, not all music is fun," she chuckled lightly. When he played a song for her, she listened briefly before shrugging and looking back towards him with a cocked head. "I don't think it's my kind of thing," she told him with a bit of a laugh. "I'm not a particularly musical person," she told him with a small smile. It was a good song, however, it just seemed to be a bit too stimulating for her... a bit too much for her to listen to without frazzling her brain. "It is good, though," she chirped happily. The girl then looked over at him. "Oh, I do like wonderwall and Mr Brightside, though!" Edited at May 8, 2023 01:25 PM by Belle

-Wow- Tyler thought. He had no idea how he could gen friends with Regan... jokingly. "You like WHAT" he almost squeaked. Wonderwall? The pop song? Worst genre of music ever next to rap? WHAT? "Let's just stop with the music." Tyler quickly shook his head with a slight smile, putting it away. Wow. What? Wow. His brain was in a loophole... wonderwall? Really? "So, what do you want to do?" He asked with a laugh, trying to get his brain off of the word wonderwall
