Mari hummed lightly to him before chucking. "You'd think that his adoptive son, the one that he's spent years looking after and stitching up, would want him to settle down in his old years," she mused lightly before her eyes winded at him. "Oh my god, Sage, are you going to make me look after you when I'm old and decrepit?" She asked with a bit of a laugh. She smiled lightly when he kissed her, turning to face him with a happy grin. "Of course I'm blushing," she chuckled lightly to him. She smiled lightly to him when he said to get the purple, but grabbed the yellow for her mother too... Mari needed a new apron for herself, anyway. Her blush deeped even more at his little wink, but followed him along like a lost puppy as he wandered along to the next window.

Sage snorted out a laugh at the girl joke and he shrugged slightly. "You pretty much look after me now," he pointed out with a grin. He felt his grin widen when her cheeks reddened even more, feels really rather accomplished with himself as of then. It widened even more when she wandered along quickly behind him like some kind of lovesick puppy, and watched her in the window for a moment, rather amused at the face on her expression. He did eye a few cool charms he saw...a horse and a knife, and a skull design of some sort. But, he couldn't decide which to get, and he supposed he didn't need them right now anyway. He wandered along for a bit before pausing to let her catch up, taking her hand as they wandered along, looking at other isles.

Mari shrugged to him before smiling lightly. "I suppose... but I'll be old and decrepit and the same time. I won't be able to look after you the whole time," she mused, her smile growing as he took her hand. She gave him a bit of a squeeze as he liked about before humming up at him. She noticed him looking at some of the charms, and cocked her head a little bit. Did he like them? She didn't know if he wanted for his birthday... she she was kind of thinking of getting him a few different things and wrapping them up nice. "You not seeing anything you like?" She asked with a bit of a cocked head.

Sage chuckled lightly at her comment and shrugged. "Well, then we can both go on crazy adventures together," he mused. "And Silas can deal with our crazy," he giggled fondly. He shrugged again at her question and huffed out a slight breath. "some of the charms are cool looking, but I wouldn't want to spend that much on them," he mused. "not for what they are...it's a cheap metal carved a certain way to make it look like silver. Cool, but not something I'd really want to take as a souvenir," he explained. Maybe once they got a house and were stable, he could buy things like that....but not now. He didn't want to spend any unnecessary cash. And he didn't want Mari to feel bad about him picking and choosing what he got out of all the things he'd eyed so far.

Mari gasped at him before rolling her hers. "I can't wait for all our adventures, especially with our walking sticks," she mused lightly. She joked about it all... but she was actually really excited for her life with Sage. Not just for all the fun bits now, but when they got older and started to slow down a little bit... she couldn't wait to see what kind of people they'd turn into. To see their house, and their little family... they might have another baby, and, of course, she was excited to see both the next child and Silas grow up... to see what kind of people they'd become. To see their families grow, just the way theirs had. She then pouted. "You wouldn't make our poor son deal with us!" She mused lightly to him. She then frowned quietly. Well, if he didn't want anything from here, they could keep searching. Sage should get a souvenir for himself, but it had to be something he'd like. They had the little horse thing to put in a garden when they got their house, and she was about to but an apron for herself. Sage should get something, too.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded with a chuckle. "I doubt we'd be able to go very far," he chuckled. Then he shrugged slightly. "I can act like a cranky old man now just as well as I could when I'm actually old, so Silas should be used to knowing how to get me to do things by then," he mused in amusement. After a few more isles, he hummed lightly and looked over at Mari. "You ready to move in to the next one, then," he asked with a cocked head. When she nodded, he wandered down to the next little shop next to her, looking around curiously before stilling when his eyes landed on a type of water lily. It was a fake plant, in a rather simple looking vase, but the flower had been Lizzie's favorite. They had grown in the lake, but they'd stopped after a while ....he wasn't sure why. He'd almost forgotten about them. But now all the memories came swirling back to him, and he couldn't help but let go of Mari's hand and walk over to gently pick up the vase and flowers and just....stare at them, remembering how Lizzie would always get so excited to see one of them.

Mari scoffed at him. "Sage, my love, my darling, the love of my life, you may be cranky but you anything but an old man," she giggled playfully to him, her hand tightening on his. "And I'm not going let our son waste his time on us," she added with a light chuckle. He want to go and work - get a house, find a nice girl and settle down, not want to tend to his crazy old parent when the time came. But, the boy was still a baby... they'd have a whole until they'd have to worry about that. She nodded happily when he said to go, and leaned on him the tiniest of bits before following him along. When he let go, though, she pouted but stayed at his side as she grabbed the vase. She didn't know what he was thinking... but clearly something important. Well, she thought so. She looked at him curiously for a moment before placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. "What's up?" Her voice was a little bit confused if anything.

Sage chuckled lightly when Mari said he wasn't an old man. Well, he certainly felt like it sometimes, though he supposed that just came from being so unhealthy. He admittedly startled slightly when Mari came up next to him and asked what he was thinking....he'd sort of forgotten she was still there. "Lizzie used to adore these flowers," he murmured softly, turning them over gently. "They don't grow down by the lake anymore." He looked over at Mari and shrugged slightly. "Can we bring this back? It can be a decoration when we get a house."

Mari apologised quickly when the boy seemed a bit startled... he'd just been holding her hand. Had he forgotten she was there already? Oh, poor boy. She furrowed her brows softly before nodding lightly. If it reminded him of his sister, of course he could get it. "Yes, we absolutely can," she whispered quietly to the boy. She did get a bit of an idea, though... well, she'd have to figure it out later. She smiled at him and pecked his cheek gently. "They'll look beautiful, I'm sure if it Sage," she told him lightly. "Why don't you get a bigger load of them... we can put them everywhere," she suggested it him. When he agreed. She took his hand and slowly moved on from the little stand, the huge bunch of lily flours in hand.

Sage hummed lightly when Mari apologized and shook his head slightly. "It's fine...I just got lost in my own head for a moment," he hummed, looking back down at the flowers. He nodded at her suggestion, grabbing a few more flowers happily as well as some vases to put them in. He chose simple ones he could decorate more later since they were sharp and he could alter them easily. Once they'd done that, he let Mari take them and his hand and wandered along to move on again.
