Iris was eating a breakfast of yogurt and fruit when her phone buzzed with the notification. She read his message and replied, -Are you sure? It was all my fault.-

Caden about spit the Monster out when he heard his phone buzz again, hurrying back over to see if it was her. -yes, im sure. it wasnt your fault, i can't say that enough.- He typed the text out and sent it, grabbing an apple from the fridge, sitting down as he took a bite out of it, phone in front of him. Waiting.

-Wait, so if I didn't do anything wrong then what did happen? I'm not trying to be rude, just wondering how you thought the conversation went on your side.- Iris took another bite of food before setting it aside; she didn't feel like eating anymore.

- also not trying to be 'rude' but you were just really involved in it when you shouldn't of been, think you started messing with my head a little when you kept insisting on ways they could find me, made me paranoid. - He explained, taking another bite of the apple as he sipped on his Monster.

Iris saw the truth in his words, though that meant she was harder on herself. -Thanks for telling me that.- Then, a few seconds later, -I was freaking out and saying everything that came to my head without thinking how it would sound to you.-

-i just, i dont know. guess im not used to somebody caring this much or something? not sure but, who knows- He sent back, having texted whatever came to mind in the moment, not looking at it again.

-If someone's never cared for you this much before then you should probably work on your friend-making skills :)- Iris didn't want to get into how she also needed to work on her social friendliness. But was it her fault everyone never talked to her except to ask for answers on homework?
| |

- ??? - Caden was puzzled, what did she mean 'friend making skills'? He had friends, loads of them, actually. What was she rambling about this time? - what do you mean? I have friends, lots -
| |
| |

-Oh my bad, I guess I just haven't met many of them. What I meant was that friends should care about each other.- Iris mentally smacked her forehead. She was crazy. She'd seen multiple friends of his multiple times and she'd just forgotten them. Way to be supportive.
| |

- oh, right. it's because i don't say anything lol, let them figure it out at some point down the line - Caden sent the text and chuckled, quite amused at it as he finished his drink and breakfast, tossing both in the trash can.
