"If you knew I existed then why didn't you talk to me? And I won't ditch you for him. He's got his own girl" she grinned and stepped closer to him, her chest against his. "I'll kiss you so that you won't ever doubt that I would leave you. Never leave you. " she gave him a second to speak before trapping any words in a kiss. Her arms wrapped over his shoulders and her hands explored his hair

"I didn't talk to anyone." Zephyr snorted. "Oh good. I'm relieved." He answered a little sarcastically, looking down at her. "I don't think that's entirely true, but I'll believe you." He answered, the rest of his sentence swallowed.

Her body buzzed at his touch. His eyes. His kiss. All of it. She leaned her head against his chest before looking back up at him and landing a soft kiss on his jaw.

Zephyr's face flickered with a smile as he leaned down and gently kissed her again. "We probably can't stand here forever." He finally murmured, pulling back slightly to look at her.

"Yes we can. We can. Never say we can't. " she pulled him down again for one last kiss before banning herself for a little bit. He was right. They HAD to leave at some point. "But I don't want to go home..." Ryan was leaving and her parents were going on a trip with the twins. She had opted out and now she was going to be home alone until the weekend. "My parents are gone with the twins so..." she glanced down at the ground then back up at Zephyr. She didn't know what she was asking for.

Zephyr obliged to another kiss- honestly he'd always be happy for one more kiss- then looked at her carefully as she spoke. "We don't have to go home yet." He answered quietly, then tilted his head. "You look like you're going to say something. Want to spit it out?" He joked slightly with a soft smile.

"I don't even know. I just know I don't want to be home alone with Blake across the balcony from me. He's starting to scare me. But I just know that Mom, Dad, Ryan, Pyper, and the twins are all gone. Kyler and Ryan are at school and the other four are going to some park up in the North. I didn't want to go and I have school. They left after the game" Sophia sighed and grabbed his hand, her eyes scanning the park. "So I think ima sit here for a bit and think of where to stay. I could see if Jessi could invite me over but we're not good enough friends for that. I'm not talking to Izzy and like I said, I'm not even comfortable in my own house. With soemone else there, maybe but alone? Not up for it. " she shook her head and sat down on the dirt

Zephyr watched her carefully. "I know. I understand." He said quietly, taking Her hand. "Hey, I know it's probably not ideal but I can stay the night if you need... I'll lock myself in your living room and you can lock yourself in your room?" He smiled faintly, just trying to cheer her up at this point. "If you want me to, I can figure out a way to stay."

Sophia froze, trying to think up something to say. The first thing that popped from her mouth was "wouldn't your parents kill you?" She knew she would be completely protected if anything happened with Zephyr around, but she didn't know if that was possible. "Wouldn't it just be easier if I stayed at your house. Not that I would. Just throwing it out there. Sorry. " she dropped her eyes to the ground. She had said the words so fast that it took HER a second to comprehend what she said.

Zephyr grinned slightly. "Yes. But it wouldn't matter. If it would help you, as a friend, I'd do it in a heartbeat." He answered, then tilted his head in surprise. "Not if you don't want to be murdered by comments and questions. My parents will ask enough to blow your brain out." He said tentatively, running a hand through his hair.
