Maddie said " it all I wanted to know I don't want to know the bed scene no thank you " as She looks at them both before saying " is okay but if you guys are going to have a child you can't lie to them " caden said " your mom told you that didn't she " Maddie nods

Kennedy snorted lightly at Maddies mention of not wanting to know the bed situation. "I won't lie to my kids.. unless I'm trying to protect them" Kennedy stated before looking over at Caden

Caden smiles and nods before the waiter came and took the orders before she left caden said " I really don't want to go in tomorrow I got that dumb ass psycholcal and I think I am going to fail it " Maddie said " no you won't I know you won't dad "

Kennedy gave the waiter her order before looking back over at Caden, she waited for Maddie to finish speaking before she spoke up. "Yeah, you won't. To me your completely sane and I don't think anything has affected you much..." Kennedy paused for a moment thinking back what happened at the hotel room with Cadens nightmare. "Well I mean of course there will always be trauma but it hopefully hasn't affected you much." Kennedy finally said bringing her gaze down to her hands

Caden looks at Kennedy and smiles softly before saying " yeah I know but I never been shot in my chest before " as he wanted to comfort Kenedy he didn't understand why she was looking down at her hands Maddie nods and said " well all long ad you pass and be able to work still you be fine "

Kennedy looked back up at Caden seeing his soft smile made her relax slightly as she smiled back at him slightly. "I a lot of people can say they have been" She joked lightly before nodding her head in agrreance with Maddie "Yeah I need my partner back, I don't think I can handle Matt for any longer" She said with a huff

Caden laughs and said " hate having Matt as a parnter that nice " as he was laughing still before the food came and the girl left caden wasn't hungry so he didn't order anything he never like rice and bean bowl

Kennedy rolled her eyes "Oh don't even get me started on that man" She huffed. She did have to admit though that Matt was a good detective but both of them just clashed way too many times while in the field. Kind of like a brother/sister bond. As the waiter came and delivered their order, Kennedy thanked her before starting to eat. She looked over at Caden then notcied he hadn't ordered anything "Not hungry?" She asked him

Caden laugh hard and said " what did that man ever do to you " as he watches her closely before shaking his head and said " not as much it normal when healing you not a hungry before thinking about he was lost in his throughs way to much and it was mostly his case he was lost in and needed to plan out how to get him down

"That man is always not listening to me and his ego is too big. I swear I'll tell him something then he'll bruh it off just to find out my suggestion is right and he takes the credit for it. Ugh I'm gonna strangle him one day" Kennedy huffed a bit annoyed through bites of her food before taking a sip of her drink then looking back at Caden "Well you should try to eat something when we get back home. It's not good to not eat all day long" She said to him while reahing a hand and placing it on his thigh in a comforting way
